Bab 24: Being Framed

Reina raced inside her room packing all of her belongings. Her ladies in waiting had informed her that she was pregnant when she woke up.

The last place that she needed to be in that moment was the palace. All that she could think of was the king and Marcus together.

Since he wasn't by her side when she woke up, she figured he was with him. Seeing as even the news of his child didnt change his mind, she didnt see the point of staying with him anymore.

Her plan was to return to her father's and then think of a way to get rid of the child in her womb. Her life was too complicated for a child.

She moved quietly not to be heard. She did not wish for company that would convince her that she should stay back in the palace. She had lost the battle and she was smart enough not to fight for something she could no longer have.
