Bab 30: It’s just pathetic to give up on something
"What are you doing Akeno?" Noah stared at the black-haired woman who had a whip in her hands, a small blush over her beautiful face.
In front of her were the Fallen Angels and the priests with different whip markings over their bodies, making them look quite pitiful.
After watching Magical Girl Sera-tan, and his shenanigans with Sona and Rias, he had come back to the underground base at Sona's house to see the prisoners, who knew he would find such a play going on.
"You should have at least invited me if you were going to do SM play with busty Fallen Angels."
"That's not the point here idiot!" Sona hit his head while Rias stared at Akeno with a slightly worried gaze.

"Anyways, someone from Grigori should be coming soon, cease this… whatever you are doing." Rias said, knowing that it was a fruitless endeavor to talk further on this topic.
But she felt like punching Noah who stood beside Raynare and asked.
"Was it enjoyable? Did you orgasm?" Raynare's blush intensified hearing Noah. She gritted her teeth in anger, glaring at Akeno.

While both of them obviously felt jealous, Noah and Akeno stared into each other's eyes, coming to some form of agreement before Akeno touched her lips with her finger, gently sliding over them.
"How regretful. It seems we will have to do it another time, Noah." She said with a smirk. "Why don't you come to my house to—"
"Akeno!" Rias shouted angrily, glaring at her, making Akeno's smile widen.
"But you said it should be alright Rias, so why are you so angry? Could it be that you have fallen head over heels for him?"
"You…" Rias didn't know what to say.
It was obvious that she was in love with Noah, and it was not a hidden fact.
But she has yet to confess her feelings, which made her quite embarrassed as Akeno brought the topic up in front of everyone.
While the tension was increasing in the air between the three girls, and with Fallen Angels watching from the side, Noah looked at the side before adding.
"Our guests are here." The sentence stopped whatever the girls were thinking as their bodies tensed, all of them staring in the direction where a magical circle appeared.
Silhouette of two people soon appeared within the circle before becoming clear for everyone to see.
The first one was obviously Tobio while the other was a handsome man with a white cat over his shoulder.
"Rias Gremory, Sona Sitri, and Noah Pendragon—it is nice to meet you, I'm Tobio Ikuse." Tobio smiled gently, staring at the people in front of him before his eyes landed on the wounded priests and Raynare.
'Whip wounds?' His eyes landed on Akeno and the whip in her hand before his brow twitched. 'Now that I remember, Shuri also had some… ambiguous hobbies…'
"Kouki Samejima." The other person doesn't seem to care about them as his gaze directly landed on Noah, condensing and introducing himself, arousing a smirk from Noah making him irritated for some reason.
"It has been a while, Akeno." Looking toward Akeno, Tobio softly smiled.
Akeno's expression dropped before turning into the coldest ice wall as she said.
"It is the first time we are meeting. I would appreciate it if you don't act so familiar with me."
"Hahaha… Well, you were a kid when we first met after all." He embarrassingly rubbed his head before turning to look toward Noah, knowing full well how much Akeno hated anyone related to her clan.
He thought it was better to not trigger her right now.
"I've been hearing a lot about you, Noah-kun."
"Oh. Like?"
"The Forbidden Child of YGGDRASIL, YGGDRASIL's Will, YGGDRASIL's successor, with so many such titles, I'm sure pretty much everyone should be hearing about you a lot."
Rias, Sona, and Akeno raised a brow, giving Noah a glance. It was the first time they'd heard about such titles.
"Is that so? I'm glad I'm that popular..." Noah's smile widened but one could tell from his aura that it wasn't a welcoming smile, but of someone who definitely didn't appreciate the other person. "... Fallen Dog God."
"Please stop. It is an embarrassing title." Tobio rubbed the back of his head, quite embarrassed to hear the title.
"Tsk." Noah clicked his tongue in apparent annoyance before staring toward the wryly smiling Tobio. "Did you bring the items?"
"Of course." Tobio's smile didn't leave despite the apparent annoyance in Noah's tone as his shadow bent and raised, swallowing his hand before pulling it back with a bag and throwing it towards Noah.
"Vita's Sacred Gears, a bracelet that changes the gravity of the person wearing it, and the ability called Reversal."
'Skill orb? Now I'm surprised. When did such a thing exist in DxD?' Staring at the bright silverish orb, Noah wondered.
He was wondering how Azazel was going to transfer the ability, maybe in the shape of a Sacred Gear? But even he never thought that he would give him something like a skill orb.
"That orb holds the information about the process of how to use Reversal, its mechanics, and everything. You just need to break it and the information will be transferred directly to your mind."
Seeing his confused state, Tobio explained.
Normally, Grigori would create artificial Sacred Gears with the knowledge or ability, creating a magical circle and engraving it on the Sacred Gear.
So whenever a person poured their mana into it, it would activate the ability.
The orb in Noah's hand contained precisely the knowledge about the magical circles and the theory behind the Reversal.
Azazel had carefully thought about it before sending the knowledge instead of just another Sacred Gear.
He wanted to see how Noah was going to perfect the ability after all.
Wearing the bracelet over his hand and feeling the weight increasing as he poured mana into it, Noah nodded with satisfaction before breaking the orb.
The knowledge contained within the orb poured into Noah's mind, prompting him to stay silent for a while before he glanced at his status seeing Reversal in the skill tab making him give another nod of satisfaction.
As for Vitra's Sacred Gear, he threw it into his system's inventory. It was not needed currently after all.
"Since you provided us with the items, you can take the Fallen Angels and priests. The deal is done." Noah said while pointing towards the Fallen Angels behind. "I won't see you out."
Tobio's eyes twitched. It seems he is not only hated by his cousin but also by her lover. It made him quite sad.
Did he do something to them? He wondered.
"Aren't you acting quite arrogant for someone sucking Devil's titties to stay alive?"
"Hm? Was there another person here?" Noah stared at Kouki with a bored gaze before adding. "Sorry, who are you again?"
"Ah don't mind don't mind." Before Kouki could say anything, Noah cut him off while waving his hand. "I'm not the one to bother remembering some dude's name, especially if the said dude is weak as fuck sucking Fallen's dick to stay alive."
Kouki's eyes widened before a smirk formed over his face.
"That's it. I'll see it myself to depart you to the afterlife."

"Oi, Kouki." Tobio wanted to stop his friend, but he was a step late as the cat over his shoulder vanished and appeared in the air before it hissed, an electric arc producing around it.
"Show him what it means to mess with us." Kouki added as Byakusa hissed increased before a huge amount of electricity traveled toward Noah.
"Noah!" Rias, Akeno, and Sona, who didn't think that the 'negotiation' would turn into a fight were startled, but they stopped as Noah snapped his finger with a bored gaze, a pillar falling in front of him.
The electricity suddenly changed its direction as if pulled by something before hitting the pillar and vanishing.
The whole underground base entered into silence as Noah said with a smirk, mockingly staring at Kouki.
"Did I stutter, dick sucker? You're weak. Except for Tobio and Laviana, even if the whole Slash/Dog were to go against me, I can single-handedly take care of them. Stop making a fool of yourself."
Kouki's eyes turned red with anger as he stared at Noah.
If first, he was determined to teach Noah a lesson, now he was determined to kill him.
"Use your True Form, Bya—"
"Kouki!" Tobio shouted, a huge pressure dropping on the inhabitant of the underground training area, making everyone shiver with terror while staring at Tobio as a dark aura manifested around him.
Kouki stopped in action before he clicked his tongue, calling Kyakusa back.
"You too, Noah-kun." Tobio added, confusing everyone before their vision seemed to blur as they found another Noah standing behind Kouki with a scythe over his neck, making Kouki's eyes widen as a shiver passed through his body.
He didn't see him—no, he didn't even know when Noah appeared behind him and when he placed a scythe over his neck.
"... Whatever." The Noah behind him vanished as the other Noah blurred before turning into a sword inserted into the ground.
He appeared beside the sword before pulling it out and sending it back to inventory.
"As I've said before, I won't see you out."
"It's alright." Tobio nodded, calling back his powers. "I'm just glad to see your powers."
His eyes narrowed a little before he called all the Fallen Angels and priests to walk toward him. As everyone gathered around him, he gave Noah and Akeno one last look before vanishing into the teleportation circle.

Appearing back into the base, Tobio sighed as he saw Kouki in a foul mood making him smile wryly.
"Now don't be mad, it's not like he stole your girlfriend or something."
"Did you know how he appeared behind me?" Kouki turned to look towards Tobio and asked.
Tobio remained silent for a while before adding.
"He seemed to be able to erase his existence from the perception of a living being."
Tobio was an expert in stealth himself.
And even he knew that his stealth was nowhere near what Noah just did today.
To him, it felt like his existence literally vanished while he created a fake existence to distract their minds, resulting in no one finding him appearing behind Kouki.
He only was able to find him after he released his powers to pressure Kouki, and to say he was surprised would be an understatement.
'If he is really able to erase his existence from perception, then it really is bad to make an enemy out of him.'
As Azazel said, an enemy living in the dark is more dangerous than one living in the light.
With Noah's ability, it would be possible to hide from the supernatural world for as long as he liked.
Tobio was sure, that if someone like Noah was given time to grow, he would become someone unstoppable.
He finally understood why Azazel wanted to make an ally out of him rather than context to win him over or kill him.
It was a wise choice indeed.
"Anyway, don't stress yourself over it. Noah was just a bad match for you and nothing else. Once you understand his abilities, he shouldn't be able to catch you off-guard like that again."
Kouki remained silent before nodding and leaving the area, leaving Tobio staring at his back.
'Noah Pendragon huh… such an interesting child. I wonder what Barakiel would say once he knows his daughter is in a relationship with him.' He internally thought. 'Sounds quite amusing… guess I'll inform him once I go and meet with Noah again. He seemed like a fun guy to be with. He also seemed to use a scythe, I'm sure we will hit it together.'
Without knowing that he would become nothing but a headache for Noah, Tobio gently smiled before looking toward Raynare and others.
"Well, you guys should hit the medical department for now. Azazel should be arriving soon."
