With a graceful inclination, he leaned toward his queen, planting a tender kiss upon her porcelain cheek. Reluctantly, he relinquished her side, knowing duty called him away, if only for a fleeting moment.

In sync with the king's departure, Jasem found himself in a similar predicament. He turned to Lady Lyra, a hint of regret in his eyes, as he extended his apologies.
