Bab 79: Intruder!

Marching down the road towards Sandheart, Adam walked alongside Halland, his eyes fixated on Ysabel who was leading the way. Lost in thought, he contemplated various approaches to persuade her to assist him. He desperately needed her help to embark on his quest, the crucial initial step towards uncovering that mysterious place.

As they continued their arduous journey, Halland, who had long noticed Adam's lingering gaze, couldn't contain his frustration any longer. He spoke without turning to face Adam, his eyes fixed on the path ahead.

"You'd do well to find something else to divert your attention. We can't afford to draw unnecessary attention to yourself."

Upon hearing Halland's words, Adam, understanding the gravity of the situation, let out a sigh. He shifted his gaze towards Halland and responded.

"How long do you reckon we can maintain the element of surprise?"
