"YOU FOOL!" {Theadris}
Ira fell to one knee as rose gold ichor spilt from her mouth, a wound of rent flesh freshly planted on her stomach.
Destruction surrounded them as they stood upon floating islands, the empty unending sky of the aether being the background of their dispute.
Ira wiped her mouth as her stomach twisted and reformed, regenerating as she stood back up. She smiled as she tilted her head, as though she was having a pleasant discussion, rather than losing a portion of her lower body to an armored woman with a longsword in hand.
"I apologise for the loss of your warriors lives, however did they not die doing what you taught them?" {Ira}
Theadris's face distorted as she nearly threw herself at Ira, her eyes shining gold as her hair began to float.
"YOU DARE MOCK THE FALLEN, WHO DIED AT THE HANDS OF YOUR INSANE CHILD!?!" {Theadris}
If Theadris had been angry before she was utterly incensed now. She then began to float as gravity loosened its grip, anything around her not entrenched in the ground floating up with her, waves of power flowing off of her as the grasses were blown back.
"YOU DARED TO DISGRACE YOU OWN CHILD, WHO HAD OFFERED HERSELF UP TO YOU AND THEN DRAGGED MY OWN TO THEIR DEATHS? YOUR HEAD WILL BE THE GIFT I GRANT THEM WHEN THEY ARR-" {Theadris}
"Saphraties." {Ira}
Instantly Theadris stopped, her eyes widening as everything fell to the ground. Her anger wavered as a new flood of reason crashed into her once overwhelming rage.
Finally, after a moment of thought, she placed her platinum blade in its scabbard.
"Phew, I thought you were going to cause another calamity for a moment and set this world back by several centuries again!" {Ira}
Theadris however only sneered in response, her beautiful yet stoic face now distorted with rage.
"You mock me yet use your divine power to solve petty disputes with your pawn of a daughter. And not only that, it was a waste because Lydia became involved. Not only did your plan fail epically, you sacrificed one of your children to do it! Even I am not so heartless" {Theadris}
Ira's smile twitched as she slit her eyes, closing them to the point one couldn't even tell they were open. However the malevolence coming from could not be hidden.
'And what exactly do you plan to d-" {Ira}
"YOU!!!" {???}
Ira sighed as she turned towards the massive shadow which dwarfed them both, her eyes dulling as she rolled them.
"I can't catch a break can I." {Ira}
Lydia's throne of knowledge now floated above as the massive goddess herself floated down to them.
Her eyes were now glowing green as miasma seemed to come off of them like steam, poisoning the sky as her hand curled into a fist.
*BLAM!!!*
Lydia struck her to the ground as Theadris covered her mouth in laughter.
Lydia however, was having none of it.
"Do you think this is amusing Theadris? GO MONITOR THAT METAL MENACE, LEST HE DESTROYS EVERYTHING WE HAVE WORKED FOR! OR I WILL PERSONALLY SEAL YOU IN THE SAME SPOT AS YOUR SISTER!" {Lydia}
Theadris face seemed to tighten as she restrained her emotions and turned to leave, but the sound of laughter sticks into her back like knives, each syllable digging into her skin as the bewitching face of Ira reformed the hole in her cheek caused by Lydia, closing it as she giggled at her predicament.
"Hahahaha, yes, go clean up after me, like the brutish servant you are." {Ira}
Theadris stiffened as she stopped in her tracks, while Lydia picked her up by her skull.
"ARE YOU AN IDIOT!?! DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH WORK YOU CAUSED ME!!! YOU NEARLY BROKE THE WORLD SCRIPT!!! EVERYONE ON TELOS COULD HAVE DIED HAD I NOT CONTAINED YOUR MISTAKE!!! COULD YOU NOT SEE THAT!?! OR SHOULD I TEAR OUT YOUR EYES SO YOU REGENERATE A NEW PAIR?!?" {Lydia}
However she never had the chance.
A silver flash shone as Theadris's blade cut through the eyes of Ira, causing her to scream as Lydia dropped her in surprise.
"Look at you now. Oh wait." {Theadris}
She squatted down as she stared at Ira, who clutched her bleeding eyes, which swirled white as they regenerated at a snail's pace, courtesy of Theadris's blade.
The minor goddesses who had been watching in hiding now retreated from the scene, unwilling to involve themselves further or be caught by the raging goddess of war.
Lydia would simply leave Ira be, deeming her punished.

POV: 3rd Person

Location: The Sangeldan field, scene of Astaros's victory against Aurora [1 Hour After The Incident]
In the dark of night, like vultures to a corpse, the scavengers guild gutted the battlefield for valuables. They had to be fast. The adventurers guild had been unreasonably quick these days and even the big score opportunities they normally had were being swept out from under them.
Kali herself had become a vicious monster over the years, tearing from whatever profit they made and enslaving or killing their best and brightest when they were caught. She had spent years grinding her heels into them as she took over their spot in the underworld, ripping it up from the dark and bringing it to light
When before the underbelly of society was the only way to get first class items from the battlefield, now the adventurers were practically desecrating the dead in broad daylight, with things being said like "The dead don't need it" and "Shouldn't have died if you didn't want me to loot your corpse". This has led them to come into conflict with both the grand army of Alvaria, the Judicial Inquisition, and these low lives. The scavengers guild.
"Quickly, dawn is approaching rapidly, there are wolves stalking the forest and soldiers walking amongst the dead. Once the adventurers arrive things will get impossible." {Masked Man 1}
The other masked men nodded swirling dust shrouding their movements as they walked through the barren waste, the glittering allure of marred and bloody gold armor littered the fields of carcasses.
Among them walked the barely living, their eyes glazed as they took lumbering steps. These half dead men couldn't even react as they were picked off one by one, the scavengers taking their more intact war material from their standing corpses.
However, trouble would catch up to them quickly.
"We found more survivors and injured!" {Holy Knight}
The men, now having their mission cut short by the arrival of fresh holy knights, now prepared to retreat.
As they attempted to regroup, a younger boy walked along the edge of a crater, unaware of the brewing trouble nearby. It was particularly devastated, shards of burnt glass sticking up like daggers.
However as he prepared to leave, a platinum glint caught his eye.
It looked like a set of unassuming plates of armor, dark grey in nature and yet… that glint of silver.
The boy slid down the edge of the crater, his hands scraped and cut by the jagged black glass.
However he didn't care, and when he reached the bottom, he picked up the armor and dusted it off.
It was just as unassuming as he initially thought.
Yet he couldn't bear to leave it behind.
Suddenly a whistle cut through the dead silence of the battlefield, calling him to return to the surface. As he turned to leave the crater however, the grey smoke and dust behind him stirred, slowly being pierced by the giant golden silhouette of a Heavy Holy Knight.
The ground crunched loudly as the giant stepped on the glass, causing the young thief to freeze as his eyes widened, turning around slowly as his eyes landed on the man behind him.
He fought every urge to scream as he slowly backed up, knowing that not only there was a chance his opponent hadn't noticed him but that if he suddenly made loud sound, the remaining Holy knights would rush over, and that would be the end of him
He slowly backed up as quietly as possible, his breath warming his hand as took step after step back.
*Crak*
Glass broke as he stepped on an upward facing shard slashing into his foot and breaking it off.
He held in the urge to scream out as the wound on his foot exploded into a burning sensation, the blood that flowed from it searing his flesh. With teary eyes he hoped that whoever watched over thieves like him that they would grant him a miracle.
He would have no such luck.
The towering man turned to him, their eyes locking as he finally got a good look at his opponent.
His eyes were white and milky, as though he were long dead, while his body was shredded and torn.
This man did not just seem dead, he was dead!
The giant man lifted an equally massive mace, raising it high above his head as the younger boy raised the armor plates to defend himself.
*BLAM!!!*
A bone shattering blow came crashing down, slamming into the armor plates as the boy was sent flying out of the crater.
His arm went numb from the shock but nothing more, with neither bruises sprouting or bones cracking.
When he landed outside the crater he cut himself upon the jagged debris while he scrambled to his feet, adrenaline driving him to run.
He never even looked back, tearing his way off the battlefield and to the others, who now were preparing to leave.
When he arrived the men were surprised to see him in such a state, putting away the treasures he recovered and placing him on a stretcher, unaware of the calamitous item they had brought with them.
Thus the first masked man ended their expedition and sounded the retreat call, leaving wartorn clearing as dawn broke over the black horizon.
…
Days later. within the sixth duchy, in the depths of the largest mansion, a woman stood in front of a mass of crates. Weapons and armor were practically overflowing from this room and yet her eyes were glued to a single item.
Lit candles were extinguished as a soft glow emanated from the womans eye as she stared at the item, rays of light soaking into it as she passed her eye over the item.
Her left eye slowly dimmed, a golden light which had emitted from it now disappearing as her smile seemed to glow.
"Now this… this is a true treasure" {???}
