Zhang Wei's mother was asleep on the accompanying bed, snoring.
Not dealing with it was the right call. Xie Wanying let out a sigh of relief and walked to the nurses' station. Sister Lingling sat there catching her breath, just having been busied and frustrated by the patient in bed 38 making a stealthy exit.
"How's bed 38?" Xie Wanying asked.
"You're back," Sister Lingling let out a sigh, "I told her to sleep, but she's hiding under the blankets trying to make a phone call. I'm thinking about confiscating her phone."
The recharge card was in her white coat pocket. Xie Wanying thought for a moment, trusted her senior nurse, and handed the card over to Sister Lingling, "You decide when it's appropriate to give it to her."
"I'll give it to her during the day. If she keeps this up, there's no need for her to sleep tonight. I'll give the card to her attending physician during the day," Sister Lingling decided.
Xie Wanying sat down beside her, taking a rest.
