Philip was different. Just the sort of person Michael would be attracted to. However, Philip wasn’t a man who did flings. He was a settling down kind of person, and he might balk at the idea of being with two guys for a relationship. Michael wasn’t about to give up Aiden, and he knew Aiden wouldn’t give up on him. But they both wanted Philip, and not just as a one-off. It had been difficult talking to Philip on those rare occasions they did meet and not be interrupted by Adam, who wanted Philip’s attention all to himself. Michael felt a flare of anger for his half-brother. Adam wanted Philip’s attention, but the moment Philip was criticized and practically forced out by his parents, Adam would be behind them. Philip had been treated badly.
We can treat him better. We can make him forget Adam.
“Michael?” Aiden was peering at him. “What are you thinking about?”
