“But that was in the contract. Am I not doing a good enough job?” Greg asked, fear clearly showing in his face.

Cisco cupped his chin. “No worries, baby. This is me, wanting to spend more time with my boy, not you shirking your duties. I still need you to do the cooking. If I ever went back to a diet of the hospital cafeteria and take out, my stomach would spasm in protest, but anyone can clean. Come on, I’ll help you with the wash and we’ll get out of here sooner.” Cisco took the basket from Greg.

Greg looked at Cisco with some skepticism. Cisco raised an eyebrow. “And just who do you think did the wash before you happened along?”
