Bab 22: Chapter 22

Trying not to make a sound, she carefully climbed up on one of the gates, moved the bizarre horse into position, swung one leg over, and awkwardly took a seat. The creature moved back and forth and huffed in annoyance. She could have sworn one of the heads sighed. “Whoa, what did we talk about? Calm down!” Ken ordered, clinging to the thing’s back.

After a moment, where the right head tried to bite her leg, she managed to straighten her posture. Her ride calmed as a result. And not a moment too soon. The roof began to tear apart in large chunks.

“I can’t believe this is happening,” she whispered to herself.

Ken gritted her teeth and kicked the animal in its side. The two took off out the back door at full speed.
