Bab 22: Chapter 22

Heat surged through his body at the touch of Dryath’s lips. In another time, or at least under other circumstances, Genthry could dig deeper into these feelings and that kiss. Would he always get this hot when Dryath kissed him? He was no untried virgin. He’d been trained for this since he’d been a child, but the only strong emotions he’d ever associated with sex had been negative. Otherwise, it was something to do in between runs, a way to take the edge off.

Dryath could never take the edge off anything. Dryath put the edges right back on again, and sharpened them too. Genthry wanted them there, wanted everything Dryath had to offer. Whether that were sharp edges or a longing from across the galaxy, Genthry would take it.
