Bab 17: Chapter 18

A low groan rushed from Nicolae’s throat and the hand in Dustin’s hair tightened. “Yes. Perspective. What you see is not what I see.”

Dustin chuckled. “Oh, no. I know what you mean. I was just thinking you were right. That maybe I’m not looking at it from the right perspective.” Dustin’s hands found Nicolae’s belt as Dustin began to sink to the floor. “Maybe this is a better one to be looking from.”

His fingers worked quickly: leather strap through steel, pressed to the side, pulled again, slip of clasp to access zipper, zipper towards ground. This, now this, he could get control of. If he was just given a minute to ramp things up, Dustin could take back the compass in this little adventure. Still, even as he fought away fabric, he was scared stiff to pause. Afraid that if given the chance, Nicolae was going to suddenly come up with yet another idea as to why what they were about to do was a really bad idea.
