Bab 95: Chapter 95

“Yes!” shouted Liam. “Yes!”

Tristan turned to Pad and handed him a pen from his pocket. Pad wrote down a few numbers and then walked two feet to where the cop stood. He showed Officer Blackstone his open hand with the numbers.

“What’s that?” he asked.

“That’s Liam’s number. You know the guy you can’t take your eyes off?”

Blackstone side eyed him but Pad didn’t care. “He’s single and a great guy,” Pad whispered.

“What makes you think I want his number?”

“Just a guess.”

Officer Blackstone glared and shook his head and he called in to cancel the tow truck on his speaker-mic. Pad watched him go past Belinda’s truck. The cop took a small notepad from his back pocket and Pad noticed he wrote something down.

Pad stepped up to Wayne. “Thanks for helping Liam. And me. It was my fault that the car was down there.”
