With a bright laugh,Brandt shook his head and wrapped an arm around her shoulders.“Oh no,not Jack.He isn’t trying to compensate for anything with his pickup,believe me.”

Lori gave him a coy grin.“And you know this because…?”

“Trust me,”Brandt said with a wink.“His dick is huge.”

Which made her think back to her original impression of the two,when she first saw Brandt seated on the truck’s tailgate,Jack standing nearby.And during the class introductions,Jack had called Brandt his partner.Lori had silently tacked on the word businessbefore it and dismissed the term.But Brandt’s matter-of-fact statement about Jack’s penis size,and the whole not having to choose either of them to go out with after the class had her wondering if first impressions weren’t always the most accurate.

Werethey a couple?Was this onlya free drink afterwards,and not a date,or something that might eventually lead to something more between her and one of the guys?
