The chain strained.

When Taren stepped up behind Ian, he was holding Ian’s shirt out to him. Ian slipped it on, and Taren turned him, so he was again facing Taren. Ian stood quietly while Taren zipped up his pants and buttoned his shirt. A bag in one hand, and Ian’s hand in the other, Taren led the way to their car.
