Bab 37: Chapter 37

Armand and Rémy went down to the kitchen to get Sean and found him chatting happily with Marie Claire, Miss Beaumont, and Meg. Marie Claire was helping Elena make cookies. Armand kissed Elena and told her that Papa and Daddy were going out with Uncle Rémy and would be back after supper in time to tuck her into bed at nine.

Sean raised an eyebrow. “It’s okay, baby. I’ll tell you in the limo.” Armand stood and grabbed Sean’s hand.

Armand, Sean, Rémy, Luc, and Pierre went in the limo. René and Martin followed behind. It was only three and a half miles to Brooklyn and Rémy’s house.

“Convenient…and large,” Armand commented as they pulled up to the driveway.

“Seventy-eight hundred square feet—and all of it painted under Ian’s supervision. Of course, he did the art textures by himself. That’s why it took so long.” Rémy guided them up the stairs where Ian was inspecting the trim.
