“Etienne has to go into the pit. I can only hope the gods stop the fight as they did mine with La Farge.” Armand clenched his fists.

“Hmmm, that is a real possibility.” Rémy nodded.

“They never stopped challenges in Russia.” Alexei’s mouth lifted in a sneer.

“I think that all of us are being given Mates with special gifts so we can take care of the Russian situation. Julio is a High Beta. If he weren’t a human, he’d at least be a pack Alpha, if not on the council.” Rémy rubbed his chin.
