Bab 58: Chapter-55
After some time, Anos and others came out of the room and went towards the living room, where they found both Kuroka and Shirone sitting there, and Kuroka seeing them coming asked,
"Master, nya~, should we go now, nya~?"
Anos nodded and replied,
"Yes, it is time, or we would be late if we delay it any longer."
Kuroka nodded and Anos made a portal and everyone stepped inside the portal and appeared outside of a mansion, which was the resident of Ruler of Kuoh Town, and soon, they saw some servants coming towards them, and Anos looked at the servants with interest, as those servants were human, which is rare, as all the activities that Cleria had to do are devil related, so it's surprising to see humans here, but, Anos ignored that, it was interesting, but nothing more, and the two men, who came to receive Anos looked at his face with terror in their eyes, but they don't let it show too much, as it would be rude towards Anos, and both came towards Anos's group and bowed their head, and spoke, in awe and fear,
"Greetings, Anos-sama, Ophis-sama, and Grayfia-sama..?"
The men became confused while looking towards Kuroka and Shirone, and Grayfia seeing that spoke,
"They are Kuroka and Shirone."
"Ah, Greetings, Kuroka-sama, and Shirone-sama."
Kuroka and Shirone looked at the men for some seconds, and the former nodded her head, while the latter became a little confused, but stay quiet, and Anos then looked at the devils and asked,
"Did Cleria send you?"
"Yes, Anos-sama, Cleria-sama send us to receive you."
Anos nodded and spoke,
"Then take us."
"Please follow us."
Saying that the two men started to walk towards the mansion, while Anos and his group followed behind them, and soon, they reached the mansion gate and saw Cleria standing there, along with Lucoa who was looking at Anos and his group with her eyes open, and Anos feeling her stare turned towards her and showed a smile, and Lucoa smiled in return, as Anos's smile was a normal one, not his insane one.
Upon reaching towards them, the servants bowed their head and left, as they want to get away as soon as possible, and Cleria turned towards Anos, and bowed her head, in a formal greeting, and spoke,
"Greetings, Anos-sama, Ophis-sama, and Grayfia-san...?"
She also looked at Kuroka and Shirone with a questioning look, and this time, Anos answered,
"They are Kuroka and Shirone."
Cleria nodded and then turned towards them, and spoke in the same manner,
"Greetings, Kuroka and Shirone."
She hadn't used respectful wording towards them because she could feel that they are weaker than her, and her devil pride wouldn't let her do that, even if they are with Anos and his group.
Lucoa, on the side, looked at them and raised her hand, as she spoke, in her calm tone,
"Good afternoon, everyone."
Anos nodded towards her and replied,
"Good afternoon, so, Lucoa right?"
Of course, Anos knew about her, as she used to be one of the characters he loved the most from animations, so it's natural for him, but he can't just say he knows her or something like that, so, he decided to do it slowly.
Lucoa nodded and replied,
"Yes, I am Lucoa."
"Right, Lucoa, the Ex-dragon goddess, your story is one of the most interesting one..."
Anos was not able to finish off, as Lucoa started to wave her hands in front of Anos, trying to stop him, and seeing that, Anos started to laugh,
"Hahaha"
Lucoa hearing him laugh pouted, as she looked away, and understood that she was made fun of, and seeing her like that, others started to laugh, and after some seconds, Anos spoke,
"Then, let's enter."
Cleria immediately showed them inside, taking them to the same Living room, where they had stayed before while calling the servants to serve the refreshments and other things.
Anos sat on the sofa, with Ophis beside him, and Grayfia stood behind them, and Kuroka and Shirone sat on another side of Anos while looking around curiously, and Lucoa sat in front of Anos while looking at him, with her evergoing smile, and Anos seeing that asked,
"So, how does a Goddess like this world?"
Lucoa was about to reply, but Anos spoke again, with a small smile,
"Ohh! sorry, Ex-Goddess."
Lucoa looked at Anos with twitching her lips, as she tried to maintain her smile and replied,
"Yes, I like this world, as there are many species to look for, and many things to do, which wouldn't let someone become bored."
Anos nodded as he asked,
"Then, how was your life in your world, for you to have such an impression of a weaker world?"
Lucoa tilted her head cutely, as she put her finger on her chin and replied,
"My life was interesting in the start, but with time it became boring, as the conflicts were starting to become more and more, and I, as a member of the spectating faction, does not interfere with any events involving the dragons or gods, so no matter what happened, I just watch them fighting, while looking for something interesting."
Anos nodded and smiled a bit as he replied,
"Well, you got quite a good world, fighting most of the time, I think I will visit that world in the future..."
Anos muttered the last part, and only Ophis heard him, as his voice was too low, and Lucoa looked at him and asked, with some surprise in her eyes,
"Do you like wars or something like that?"
Hearing that, Anos started to laugh, as he replied,
"Of Course I do, I am Demon King of Tyranny and Destruction, and it is what I love the most."
Hearing him, everyone in the room become surprised, even Grayfia, as Anos had never admitted anything about his behavior, making it unpredictable, but Grayfia could somewhat feel that Anos's original behavior was during the time of the demise of Fallen Angels, and when he showed his affection, and the rest is a lie.
Lucoa looked at Anos, and spoke with interest,
"I see, that's why the energy emitted from Sona was full of destruction."
"Well, it is natural, as she is my only blood kin."
Lucoa nodded, while everyone else just looked at them, talking to each other, and Anos then asked,
"So, you don't like Wars and destruction?"
"No, I am from the spectating faction, away from the conflict..."
Lucoa wasn't able to finish, as Anos started to laugh,
"Hahahaha.."
"It's funny when you are clearly looking at all the wars happening, and never interfering, but watching them, and enjoying them, while you could have finished them easily, with your strength."
Anos said, with a maniacal grin on his face, and Lucoa looked away, as Anos's eyes were full of insanity right now, and after a few seconds, she replied,
"Yes, I like to watch the wars, but never participating in them."
Anos shook his head, as he said,
"Yes yes, even then, you still like to see blood flowing like rivers and you found it interesting, you like watching people die, in a gruesome way in a war."
Lucoa stayed silent hearing that, and Anos smiled even more and was about to speak but, Ophis hit him on his head while saying,
"You are scaring her.'
Anos looked at Ophis and exclaimed,
"But! she was about to be corrupted, you know how hard it is to find someone like me, who has the same hobbies."
"But, I have the same hobbies as you!", Ophis replied.
Anos became quiet for a second, as he put his hand on her cheeks, and caress it, and spoke in an affectionate tone,
"I love you the way you are, so don't think much about changing yourself according to me."
Ophis nodded, as she enjoyed his touch, and Anos looked at others, who are looking at them with their eyes wide open, especially Cleria, Lucoa, and Kuroka, as Shirone is too small to know about some things, and Grayfia already knew about their antics.
Anos then removed his hand, and Ophis leaned on his chest as he looked at Lucoa and asked, with his normally smiling face, as though he never showed that grin,
"So, what do you want to talk about?"
Lucoa looked at Anos and thought, 'Do I really want to be with them, but-but it seems interesting, and all I have to do is to be careful, and then, I could find many interesting things.'
"I want to ask if I could join the peerage thing?"
"And, why?"
Lucoa looked at Anos's face, as his eyes are now back to normal, and thought of what would be the best answer, but though that, the best is, to tell the truth,
"Because it seems interesting."
"And, if I want to corrupt you again, then? as I knew I will definitely try to do that."
Lucoa put on a troubled smile, as she thought of an answer,
