Bab 1767: Worse than a street dog (2)

It turned out that the crowd had actually broken Zhou Jiao Jiao's arms and one leg. Because they were furious with the actions of Zhou Jiao Jiao, the crowd beat her up until even her daddy could not recognize her. She was beaten black and blue and was finally rescued by the village head of the Zhou village. 

Of course, the man was just as disgusted by Zhou Jiao Jiao as others but he could not let a mob murder someone in his village. Thus, he had to stop the crowd from making any move on Zhou Jiao Jiao. 

In case she died then it would be him who had to answer the authorities. 

However, even though Zhou Jiao Jiao was rescued, her arms and one of her legs were broken. When she was taken to the hospital, the doctor who was responsible for treating patients refused to treat Zhou Jiao Jiao. She had long heard about the good things that Zhou Jiao Jiao had done.
