"I am telling you, that girl… that girl must have made some kind of deal with that dirty thing," Old Master Gu was certain of this, if not why would everyone suddenly like her? There were times when even he wanted to hand her ten pounds of pork belly that his eldest daughter brought with her.

But he loved his daughters to the point he would cut off his flesh and feed them, how could he let such a fleeting feeling govern him? Though he would sometimes wonder why he even felt that way, he didn't bother to pay too much attention to it.
