Bab 1519: Yu Cheng pay back the debt

"Alright," Shen Li agreed as this was not a big issue, they did not know anyone from the Ding family and the weather was too hot so none of them went outside nowadays. Even if they somehow run into Ding Nuannuan somewhere, they could always turn around and leave. 

So, they did not need to worry about Ding Nuannuan troubling them. 

Seeing that they have understood, Yu Dong did not say anything more. She asked Chen Mi to cook something light instead of chicken soup since she wasn't sick, she did not want to drink hot soup on such a hot day. 

Chen Mi rolled his eyes but agreed. He cooked Liangpi with drunken chicken along with braised beef shank and boiled shrimp with ginger and scallion dipping sauce. 

Lunch was a feast like every day. 

The Yu family ate the meal with happy smiles on their faces even Old Madam Yu who was worried about Yu Cheng was relaxed after eating a good meal.
