Bab 1397: Taught a lesson

Yu Jianian did not hold back as she threw the wooden block, she was too fast and Ye Liu could not stop her at all. The block flew in an arc and hit Sun Jie on the forehead, the block was made from wood and had sharp edges, the second it hit Sun Jie on the head —— blood immediately gushed out. 

"AH!" Sun Jie screamed in pain as he clasped his forehead with his hands, he looked at the red liquid that was smeared on his palm and started to shake. He looked terrified and lost, seeing this Chen Mi could no longer care about anything. He rushed towards Sun Jie and coaxed him in a low voice, "It is alright, it's alright. It doesn't hurt." 

Sun Jie was special and even though he looked like he was agitated under Chen Mi's presence and voice he calmed down. He sniffed and sobbed silently making the heart of Shen Li, Ye Liu and Fang Chi ache. The sight of this foolish mer crying without making a fuss even though he was hurt was enough to make them feel sorry for him.
