Bab 1048: Give me an explanation

Yu Dong did not know that Li Yan was already planning about how to get the golden taels that she had taken from the Wang family. The next morning she woke up feeling contented but as she reached out her arm to cuddle Ye Liu, she was surprised to see that her husband was not sleeping next to her. 

Annoyed she opened her eyes and looked at the empty bedroom, she wanted to snuggle for a few minutes before waking up but now that Ye Liu was not in the room, she could only wake up. 

She dressed up and then stepped out of the bedroom before heading to the bath house at the back of her house. Once she was done bathing, Yu Dong headed back to her house and was about to ask Chen Mi what was for dinner when she suddenly heard the sound of someone crying.
