Bab 99: Serina's plight

The fight between Duke and his wolf was getting more vicious with every next hit, and I saw the moment when Duke and his wolf wrestled each other on the ground. By now, both of them were dirty and covered in bruises, and I couldn't distinguish which one is which.

The sound of blows mixed with the wind and thunder, and the icy rain started falling, each drop that landed on me caused a sting, but I couldn't peel my eyes from two figures entangled in a fight.

One used his legs to push the other one away, and I could feel the murderous aura filling the air as the one who was on his feet lunged toward the one who was still down and scrambling to stand up.

They were really set on killing each other!

No, no, no… NO!

Without thinking, I got between them, and I could feel the blow hitting my abdomen.
