Bab 55: Chapter 55- We're Matchmakers Once More

I sipped the tea and sighed. My shoulders relaxed as the bright sun lit up the rose garden in the academy. The sun hat sat snugly on my head to protect me from the sun’s rays. Despite it closing in on winter, the sun still posed a problem to my skin even if the temperature wasn’t warm anymore.

“Does he really think I’m that easy?! I am a Bazanine! Heiress to the third most powerful family in Calore! Who does he think he is?!”

“I believe he thinks of himself as a doofus who ruined his chance of getting a woman, Lady Rium.”

I placed the teacup back down on the table and smiled. The dark-haired woman had a very upset expression. Ever since Lord Raphael returned to the way he was, Lady Rium smiled less than she did before. These dumb lovebirds are really making things difficult.

“How long will you give him the cold shoulder? He’s been doing everything he can to redeem himself.”

Lady Rium scowled, “Until he realizes that he cannot live without me!”

I sighed, “Is that so…”
