Bab 37: Chapter 37- Intruder

I look down in my drawer with slight confusion. I don’t remember placing my perfume bottle in here last night… Everything looked to be slightly misplaced.

“Lady Lilia,” I called out as I turned to the other side of the room.

“Yes, Lady Viola?”

“You didn’t look through my drawer, did you?”

Lady Lilia’s eyes widened in horror. “Oh, heavens no! Definitely not without your permission, Lady Viola.”

She sounded genuine.

“Is something the matter?” She asked.

I shook my head and gave her a gentle smile. “No, it seems like I misplaced some items. That’s all.”

I turned back to my drawer and took hold of my blush and lipstick. There was this slight uneasiness in my chest when I stared at my misplaced makeup. I scrunched up my eyebrows and looked to the other drawer. It was slightly ajar. I placed the items on the table and pulled the other drawer out to see the wooden box open. So my suspicion was right.
