Bab 1803: I WANT YOU DEAD!

Despite the danger, Ryu all but burst out laughing. A dignified Dao Lord spewing out such vulgar language had about as much weight to him as a three-year-old little girl saying the same thing, not because they were of equivalent strength, but because it was the same level of out-of-place regardless of which of them said it. 

But it seemed that this Dao Lord was already infuriated to the limit. 

The issue was that while the Monk Battalion didn't know he was on this mission, the higher ups of the Cauldron Battalion certainly did. Not only was Kaisa's cousin paying strict attention to this matter, but so was Commander Tiger, and even worse, Dao God Cloudfire was waiting for his good news. 

Every time Ryu outmaneuvered him, even if it seemed to be by accident, it was another slap to his face that left him infuriated. 

Under normal circumstances, the speed of someone at Ryu's caliber would be nothing more than a joke to him, even considering his control over space.
