Bab 8: On the way: world building
----Just a in betweens chapter its really short, just for some world building----
When I heard what I did would be reported to the Fire Lord, I wondered whether that was good or bad though time would tell. None the less I was now heading toward Siagu Mountains, my mission would be to create an ambush site. Me revealing my new bending skills would surely help me getting a higher rank quickly. For now though i had to accompany a small battalion to the mountains to meet up with General Lee...
It had occurred to me that there was already a General Lee at Warden's pass, there really was a lot of people named Lee. Like some kind of place holder name...creepy.
---Soldier's Talking by Campfire pov---
"I can't believe we have to actually escort a little kid."
"I hear he can bend magma, some crazy stuff ya know. I bet that's the reason we were ordered to escort him."
"Do you mean lava bend? Cause lava and magma are two different things."
"Shut up Phil."
"I heard they were planning to use the kid as a weapon on the city of Omashu to flood the city with lava and melt the whole city."
"The Fire Lord wouldn't authorize that, Omashu is an important strong hold not to mention nobles were talking about how it would be held by Ukano."
"If the kid is so important why do we have a total of 6 people traveling with him?"
"Phil, please shut up. Its clearly because he is just kid do you want to announce to the whole of the earth kingdom that a kid can sink a city in lava. At most they think he is a noble or something."
"Did anyone actually see the lava bending though, do you honestly think he can sink a city."
"Damn Greg, that is a good point which means we are likely just cannon fodder. Isn't that fun?"
"Can you not be so sarcastically depressed?"
"Whatever I am going to bed."
