"My mom called today," I carried Bin from Mar, and took him to his crib.
"What did she say?"
"I planned a lunch meeting between us this weekend, hope it's okay with you?" I turned to face him.
"Of course, it is." He smiled, "I thought you will never ask."
"Why? Mom isn't a person who easily forgets a promise made to her. There is no way I can forget it, else she might desire to cut off my head."
Mar chuckled, "your mom undeniably seems to be a no-nonsense person. Don't worry, I will be free to accompany you."
"I will give her a call to tell her of this."
"Are we taking Bin or should we leave him with Dozzy?"
"Mom specifically requested for you to bring the baby when you are coming over."
"Wait, did you tell her about us?" He seemed surprised at the prospect.
"Not yet. I don't think it's something you discuss over the phone."
"Phew. At least the first part of the conversations between us won't be awkward."
