Bab 49: A caring friend

Kel watched me as I ate an entire plate of curry rice. It seems like he wanted to talk about the amount of food I'm consuming, but he held his lips. However, the expression he had on his face showed exactly what he wanted to say with his mouth, but couldn't bring himself to do that.

"Since you all believed that I'm pregnant, I guess I have to eat like a pregnant person. I won't allow anyone put me down about this."

"But you've eaten more than enough. Should you continue this, I'm afraid—"

My phone started ringing, and it expertly cut his words short.

"Can you help me get the phone? I can't lift my body."

"Says the person who eats more than a giant."

"Have you seen a giant before?" I frown at him, "please get the phone, and stop talking rubbish."

I purse my lips.
