Bab 143: Chapter 143 : One chaos after another

"Don't forget about next week's quiz, you kids!" said the teacher before he walked out of the room, leaving the whole class groaning in frustration. While everyone was complaining about the quiz, I quietly gathered my things and put them in my bag. 

My hand was holding my physics notebook when I remembered something. 

Cautiously, I peeked on Cassian. He was also packing his things and prepared to go home. I contemplated whether or not I should take the initiative when he called out to me.

"Thank you again for today, Eirlys. Thanks to you, I have a good first day of school. I was so nervous the whole time, but you made it easier for me to pull through." He said sincerely.

"I didn't do much, but you're welcome." I subconsciously fidgeted in my place and wondered if I should offer my help or not. He might think I was being a nuisance if I misread his silence as proof of acknowledgment for me. 

"Eirlys? Do you have something you want to say to me?"
