Bab 21: Chapter 021- Grand Welcome
Blue Wind Imperial palace is now in chaos. After one prince managed to poison the king with the help of doctor Gu Quihong, the battle between the princes for throne become more and more fierce.
Within the last few years, only two prince manged to survive. And these two princes are being supported by the Xiao sect and Burning Heaven clan.

Ling yun is ready to take action against Blue wind Empire and make it his own. He can easily subdue the whole kingdom with his strength but that would ruin his reputation and make him look like an evil person in front of the masses.
So, he needs to create a scenario where he will be able to intervene and take over the kingdom without getting any ire from the population.
One might say that the ire of normal people shouldn't be able to do any real harm to him at all, so why bother? Though it is true but the question is who would want to be the villain if he has the chance to be a hero.

"Ling wan, prepare a carriage for me. I will be visiting his majesty. Also, tell the army to be prepared. Our plan will start after I come back." Ling yun said.
"Yes, master." Ling wan replied and then retreated to make preparations.

A beautiful carriage is flying in the sky with the help of two tyrant profound realm beast which has been caught by Ling yun in the past few years. It's speed is so fast that even a peak emperor profound realm would have hard time even taking a glimpse of it.
Whenever Ling yun would past by a place, people would look up in dread only to find nothing. With it's speed, it didn't even took an hour to reach the royal palace. But the moment the two beasts carrying the carriage landed near the palace, most of the soldiers past out just feeling their malevolent aura.
As for those that managed to stay awake somehow became very worried as they carefully came in front the carriage and bowed to show respect for whoever is in it.
Leading this group of people is the vice palace chief of the Blue wind profound palace, Qin Wushang. Seeing a figure coming out of the carriage, he didn't dare to directly look at the person and uttered with utmost respect while keeping his gaze lowered, "Forgive this lowly servant for being presumptuous, your excellence. But may I know your reason for coming to this lowly place?"
"Hahaha....No need to be so tense, vice chief wushang. I am just here to check on my father in law and my fiancee." Ling yun said in an amazed tone as he walked down from the carriage while releasing his sovereign profound realm aura.
Feeling this dreadful aura, all of the people present passed out except for the vice palace chief. Not because the vice palace chief is strong enough to withstand Ling yun's aura but because Ling yun allowed him.
Ling yun could have been lowkey coming here. But he decided not to as that would create more problems than necessary. So, he decided to reveal his strength as a show of force which would keep most of the people in check when he becomes the king of this kingdom.
As for those who would still not relent after this, there is no need for those person to live anymore.

In the King's Chamber-
Blue wind profound palace chief, Dongfang Xiu was hiding in the shadow while protecting the majesty who is now talking to his daughter. Suddenly he felt two powerful aura coming from outside of the palace.
After quickly calming his nerves down, Dongfang Xiu came in front of the king and said, "Your Majesty, we should quickly go to a hiding place. If those two person possessing such a aura comes with a bad intention, I would have no way-"
But before he could even finish his sentence he felt another aura which way more powerful than the past ones. He said in a shaking voice, "T-This should be a S-Sovereign profound realm practitioner. But why would a person of that stature come to the Blue wind profound palace?"
As if to answer his question, the princess suddenly said, "This aura is same as Ling yun's. But how can he be so strong?"
Hearing those words, both the Cang Wanhe and palace chief got shocked. Cang wanhe quickly looked at Dongfang Xiu and said, "Go outside and invite whoever that came with utmost respect."
"But your majesty-" Dongfang Xiu wanted to protest as that would put the emperor's life in danger. But Cang Wanhe didn't waver in his decision and said, "Don't worry about me. Just go. We shouldn't keep the venerable guests outside waiting."
Dongfang Xiu gritted his teeth as he went outside. The first thing he noticed was the two beasts radiating tyrant profound realm aura. But the moment he noticed the person radiating the sovereign profound realm aura, he stood rooted in a place for few minutes.
When he finally managed to come back to his senses, he couldn't believe what his eyes was seeing.
*H-how can he become so powerful at such a young age? It's illogical.* Forcefully suppressing his inner confusions and fear, he hurriedly went to meet Ling yun.
As Ling yun can easily destroy the the kingdom without fearing any consequences, Dongfang Xiu doesn't want cause any disrespect or misunderstanding.
"I hope you will forgive me for my late arrival, young master." Dongfang Xiu first bowed as a show respect before uttering the sentence.
"Don't worry about that. I'm already quite honored that the mysterious palace chief himself decided to show up to receive me." LIng yun said with a little smile. He didn't show any arrogance as that would make people feel distant and resentful towards him.
After reading countless biography of various rulers, he at least understood that a nice ruler would have higher chance of making his legacy last longer than a tyrant. Aside from that, a good reputation can bring other benefits as well. For example attracting talented people, rapid growth of economy by making general people work for him diligently or to gather loyalty would be much easier with a nice persona rather than a dark one.
So, Ling yun will try his best to make himself approachable in front of others as long as the other party isn't hostile to him or his closed ones. As for those who will become hostile to him, there is only one path awaits for them and that is DEATH.
Dongfang Xiu did manage to loose his tense nerves somewhat because of Ling yun's easy going persona. During his escort toward the royal chamber, Dongfang Xiu even managed to ask some advice related cultivation as he has been stuck in the same realm for such a long time.

Ling yun finally reached the royal chamber of king Cang Wanhe. When the door opened and he walked in, he didn't bow his head towards the king instead it was the king that slightly bowed to him and Ling yun just nodded.
And amazingly, no one in that room found it odd as this universe is ruled by the strong. So, if someone strong shows up in front of you, you must show that person respect unless you have the same strength or background as him.
