Bab 168: The Gathering (2)

A few hours into the flight, Cai sat cross-legged on the back of the frost crane and turned around to ensure that everyone was still OK.

Mina seemed to be the calmest as she sat crossed-legged like Cai was. Her eyes were constantly scanning the clouds curiously. As for Jian Yi and Jian Na, each twin held onto one of Mina's folded arms nervously, as if for dear life.

Cai smiled and then turned to his side, where Hou Zhou was sitting. The man nervously gripped the creature's large feathers with his eyes shut.

"You seem quite nervous, Mr. Zhou. Have you never flown before?" Cai asked curiously.

"Haha, please don't make fun of me. I'm just not good with such...heights..." Hou Zhou said while slowly taking a peak, but when he saw how high they were, he quickly closed his eyes and gripped the feathers even harder.

'Is it that scary?...' Cai thought to himself as he stood up and walked over to Song Yaun, holding the reigns close to the creature's neck.
