Bab 137: Qi Gathering (1)

A few days later, deep within a nearby mountain range, a camp filled with makeshift tents was filled to the brim with people.

At the heart of the camp was a massive tent where inside, a seemingly ordinary man sat atop a throne made entirely of beast bones and skulls. The contrast between his dull face and the vicious-looking throne would raise many eyebrows.

He wore armor made from a strange red hide that fit his skinny build loosely. Below the throne, two men were kneeling towards him, not daring to look up at his face.

"Kai of the Heavy Cloud Sect?...," Said the skinny man in a soft, barely legible voice.

"Y...yes, my lord!", Said one of the kneeling men nervously.

"...He seems to be rebuilding the village ruins and says the area now belongs to him..." said the second man with a shaky voice. 

If Kai were here, he would have recognized them both as the two men he had recently released.
