Bab 2: New Home
I quickly open the door and walk into a well-lit hallway; I can see everything in high quality which makes the view much more enjoyable than I would have thought. I quickly leave those thoughts behind me and walk towards the commotion I hear behind another door.
I push the door open and behind that door Is quite the site. A few kids are running around a large table grabbing some food and sitting down to eat and two adults are at the ends of the table helping serve the younger children.
The issue with this picture however is that some of these people actually have strange appearances. The old gentleman at the head of the table clearly has a fluffy brown monkey tail and the facial features similar to a chimpanzee, the other adult looks relatively normal however the things that are surrounding her is certainly not, which are bunch of small plastic spoons with some food on them, she is apparently using telekinetic power to feed some children around her.
Some children as well have strange appearances, one kid has red skin and seems to be abnormally muscular, and another has pink skin. One of the strangest sights I could see is a young boy that had two arms protruding out of his head that he wore on his head like a helmet. It's pretty strange and it also appears like it's a pretty useless quirk; and YES, it extremely clear that I am in MHA just from this sight alone.
Suddenly I head "Ken whats wrong with your eyes? Have you finally gotten your quirk?" I turned to the voice and it appears that it was asked by the older woman with floating utensils. The kids hearing this turned to me and excitedly exclaimed "Wow ken has cool eyes!" "Amazing those look cool!" "Ken what can those eyes do," I simply responded with a shoulder shrug and a "eh? How should I know I haven't played with them yet?"
My response left several kids downtrodden but also excited to play with me and see what those cool eyes can do. Most of them suddenly surround me and bombard me with questions left and right, I ignore them all in order to move to the large table and get me some of that delicious smelling breakfast, I am starving… it must have been due to the energy required to activate my quirk.
I quickly sit down and now that I have time to think I'm not sure how to feel of being reborn as a small child, I may have to act childish and less mature in most situations… yet again this is MHA where human society is deeply connected with quirks, quirks that can create super geniuses as soon as the age of 4, so I am not too worried. I will just act mature most of the time yet not too mature in order to avoid extra attention from the adults around me.
Suddenly I am moved out my reverie by a loud voice directed at me, "Ken! Did you hear what I just said? I will be taking you to the quirk doctor to evaluate and register your quirk!" I simply respond with a small "okay." The other kids however are excited "Kimiko-Obaasan when will we get our quirks!" "Quirks are so cool I wish I already got mine." They are interrupted by a male voice "Brats you all need to be patient for your respective quirks, you are young yet, you have at the least 3 to 4 more years in order to get your quirks." This got the small children excited and happy, "Yay, Thanks Tsutomu-Jiisan." They soon went back to talking within their own respective groups and eat peacefully.
This once again gave me enough time to think about what I should do in this world. This is an exciting and amazing world and at the same time a horrible and dangerous world. This is a world where capes are fighting villains non-stop, it's a world that has a huge societal problem where people are discriminated for ugly looking or mutant quirks and other such gibberish.
It's a continuing cycle of hate and discrimination, where the non-talented or ugly person is mistreated and feared by the rest of society and where the seemingly talented and extravagant are given everything by it; and don't get me started on how quirkless people are treated in this fucked up world. This creates the never-ending cycle of the play called 'Villains vs Heroes'.
To be honest I really don't want to get involved in any of it, either the main plot of this world where Izuku Midoriya and All Might have to face and defeat the sinister forces of All-For-One. This is not including the following villains after that's happened, I didn't really get that far in the Anime, yet I know for a fact that there is a huge probability that there are scarier fish out there in this world, not only because this world is based off of a television show where the protagonist has to face never ending strife in order to succeed, but because if you think about it rationally, this world has so many scary quirks all over the place. I mean the planet is huge and it's obvious that many powerful people are going to born in it. Just thinking about Thirteen's quirk is scary… a blackhole… yeah, this situation is too troublesome.
Ken: {hmm oh well I am just 5 years old I have plenty of time to decide on what to do}.
