Bab 17: First Date
The next day, right where is Saturday. Abriella didn't go to her office either and just rested at home. She who that morning was sitting relaxing in front of the television and enjoying his morning cereal suddenly got a message that entered his cellphone.
The woman immediately took her cellphone and read an incoming message that was sent by Brian to her.
'Because of your bad condition... Then I won't take you out tonight! But I'll come and cook a steak and bring some wine to your house. Is that enough for our first date?''
The message on Abriella's cellphone screen was able to make the woman choke when she read it. She immediately replied to the message, after she quickly put away the bowl of cereal she was holding.
'Woah... That would be so much fun! Of course, that's enough, I'll prepare the rest and wait for you. See you tonight...'
Abriella also sent the message and looked around to make sure that her apartment was neat and clean. Even though last night Brian saw the condition of his apartment which was not so neat, but still Abriella wanted to do the best and perfect. She stood up and quickly put his bowl of cereal into the sink, then she immediately took a broom and other cleaning tools to clean his apartment.
Time passed quickly, Abriella who had finished cleaning her apartment and had prepared the tools in the kitchen was silent and sighed seeing the results of her hard work all day. She looked at the clock and was surprised to see that it was already evening.
Abriella immediately took her cell phone and saw that there were a lot of messages from Jane saying that they were going to invite her to play tonight. Abriella chuckled softly and called her friend.
"Hello… Ella, we're on our way. I and Natasha are waiting for Melinda. Wait a minute, we'll—"
"Jane! You don't have to come here!" Said Abriella who immediately cut off Jane who was explaining where they were now. Jane's silence was also known by Abriella, then the woman asked Abriella in a voice filled with disappointment.
"What's wrong Ella? Don't you want to... Play with us? Or are you working overtime?" Jane asked trying to guess why Abriella said they didn't need to come to pick her up that night.
Abriella shook her head at the question, she also explained to Jane, what happened. "No, Jane... It's not like that. But... Today I'm going on a date with Brian." Answered Abriella who felt a little embarrassed to explain it to her close friend. Then she heard screams from Jane, Melinda, and Natasha who also listened to their conversation.
"Is that Ella? Is Brian an accountant then?" Abriella could hear a question from Melinda who was full of enthusiasm.
"Finally!" He could also hear Natasha's grateful voice.
And the words of the other two friends succeeded in making Abriella feel embarrassed until her face felt hot.
"You guys listening?!" Asked Abriella who was surprised when she heard the screams of the three friends at the same time, she also heard the sound of laughter from Jane, who was indeed the loudspeaker of their telephone line.
'Of course! Are you just going to tell Jane this, Abriella? How cruel you are to me and Melinda!'' Natasha protested to Abriella who asked that. But actually, the prosthesis was just a joke from Natasha to Abriella who now took it seriously. Abriella quickly apologized to the two friends and explained that that was not her intention.
"Gosh, Natasha… I didn't mean it like that, I'll tell you all. But right now I have to get ready and take a shower! I haven't even decided which clothes to wear, because I'm busy tidying up my apartment." Said Abriella who accidentally explained to her three friends that she and Brian were going on a date at her apartment. Which of course made the three friends even more excited to hear it.
'So you mean he's coming to your apartment and you guys are going to spend some time at the apartment? Oh my God!' Jane asked who was now exclaiming exaggeratedly accompanied by laughter from Natasha heard.
Abriella, who realized that she had said the wrong thing, bit her lower lip and lightly hit her temple.
'Okay, you haven't chosen any clothes yet, right? I have a dress suggestion for you to wear tonight that will leave Brian speechless and amazed to see you!' Said Melinda who immediately suggested Abriella, about what clothes she should wear for her first date tonight.
Exactly at seven o'clock in the evening, the time when Brian said he would come to bring some food for them and cook at Abriella's apartment. The bell rang, making Abriella, who was now tidying up the flowers in the vase on the dining table, ran to open the door.
When Abriella opened the door, she saw Brian smiling and holding up some of the bags in his hands as he said, "I have come to bring food from heaven!" He said which then fell silent when he saw Abriella's current appearance.
Just like what Melinda said to Abriella if Brian would be pensive and stare at her in awe.
Abriella is currently wearing a little black dress that hugs Abriella's curves which makes her sexy, she also wears pointy flats, with long earrings to the shoulder, as well as a bracelet that matches her earrings. Don't forget, Abriella uses thick red lipstick.
The impression that Abriella is currently giving on Brian is, sexy! That was exactly what Melinda intended, who gave Abriella the idea. But one second later, Brian laughed softly making Abriella surprised and felt stupid when she dressed like that for Brian.
"Does... This looks ridiculous?" Asked Abriella who was disappointed with the reaction Brian gave her.
The man standing in front of Abriella who heard those words immediately shook his head and replied, "No! I think you look really pretty, and… Sexy!" Said Brian who now smiled and spoke seriously to Abriella. Making the woman look back at Brian and raise her eyebrows.
"Really? Then why are you laughing?" Abriella asked again when she heard Brian's words did not match the reaction she had just seen. Brian stepped up and kicked the door of Abriella's apartment so it closed. He who was now standing in front of Abriella whispered,
"Yeah… You're so beautiful that I couldn't help but laugh at my stupid self for not asking you out earlier!" Brian teased Abriella who was now smiling and blushing. The woman immediately took some of the bags in Brian's hands and said.
"Alright, let's cook this!" She said while smiling seductively at Brian who also smiled and nodded. The two of them walked to the kitchen and as planned Brian would cook steak for them both.
