Bab 220: Chapter(Two Hundred) Nineteen: Money

" Take a seat, Constantine." The other man chimed in before rounding the desk and taking a seat of his own. 

More men in suits spilled into the room and Johnny smiled down at Navaya when he noticed she was still staring at him with confusion and curiosity etched into her features. It was a welcomed improvement from the anger and annoyance she always sported.

Johnny left her side and took a seat at the far end of the desk, the one directly opposite North Draven's. As much as it pained Johnny to leave Navaya's side, he wanted to sit facing North throughout the meeting. Johnny hadn't been exaggerating when he told Navaya that Draven was a dick to people who he deem unimportant but what he didn't say was North Draven was an asshole to people who held views other than his own. Which in turn meant almost everyone.

The man was also a sleazy fuck. Hopefully keeping a firm gaze and a 'don't fuck with me' scowl on him would keep North in line.
