I was hooked into this book like it was really good, the story plot, the details, the characters, everything was great and there weren't any major grammar mistakes or anything but the ending was was horrible. I think the author could have made the ending better because this book really had potential. The bit where he reveals he was the richest man never came because, spoiler, he suddenly died because of some Buddha beads that were never mentioned before???It's a Bad Ending and it was honestly really bad like if you were going to end it you could have at least given us a good ending. He ends up dead and she grows old and rich but not happy before she finally died after a hundred years and it hints that she managed to reunite with him. I would give it a higher rating if it weren't for the ending.

The beginning was really good. It feels refreshing. I love both the fl and the ml. But the last two chapters are disappointing. I was so shock after reading it. The ml just died. No explanation, no hint, no everything. The author just ruin a good story with such a trash ending. So if you want to read it, read it at your own risk. But I don't recommend this book.

Overall, not a bad read, and thanks to its brevity, there are no draggy misunderstandings. However, there are some glaring points that nearly made me quit at the 175-chapter point. *WARNING SPOILERS * - The constant Internet netizen wars get boring after the 10th or 11th time - There’s a lot of circling back to the lousy families. Several meals with the elders that ALWAYS end up badly. Several meetings with the Ex that ALWAYS ends up badly, etc, etc. So why keep going back, JZ? - Biggest biggest issue, IMO, is that LM is crazy obsessive not in a good way. our FL is a woman being attacked by her bio family, her ex’s family, and nearly everyone in the entertainment world. JZ is doing her best to grow her business despite all these pressures, but he weaponizes their physical relationship and is always underfoot interfering with her work ~~ JZ meeting with clients or employees, he’s constantly trying to seduce her to miss these important events, even resorting to closet shenanigans ~~ She talks with her artist for 15 minutes = he needs to grope her for 30 minutes ~~ She works on a script with the writer on scene = he demands a “pickle tickle” in her on-location office LM is great as her backup support and BTS knight, but he really needs to let her fly instead of tying her to a bed and keeping her on her back.

The story is good until chapter 197... But in the next second the author decide to show us that not all story have satisfying ending and just decide to kill the male lead and make the female lead stay alone untill her old age without any explanation about what happen to the bad guys... Its a good thing that I read in the free trial time so I dont waste any coin...

The ending sucks. It is very abrupt and it feels like the author got tired of writing about the characters. I feel like it was a waste of my spirit stones. There are so many unanswered questions at the end.

I read the whole thing. Honestly WHAT was up with the ending? The novel started off beautifully and had potential but the ending was so anti climatic. Like he just dies? What? Definitely would not recommend this to anyone because of the ending.
Beautiful story. Sometimes the names are off and sometimes there are double words. But the story itself is genuine and romantic. You can feel the happiness and the pain as they feel it. Sad yet happy ending.
stared of great.. but not so interesting not sure of the ending ... it's incomplete n doesn't make sense ML passed away unexpectedly, FL doesn't get revenge , in 1 chapter he dies, she becomes great manager, the fights between FL n other girls are poorly executed

While it could have been a nice story about character developments, it basically was a cliché filled mess. The only character who had any personality changes was the FL. Everyone else stayed the same, and it was honestly a waste of reading time. No one had any reasonable motivations, especially the FL's ex, who by the way should have been excited she was willing to just leave, but instead he drags out everything. He is kind of a creep, trying to control his ex. The ML has no personality, all we know is he is rich and hiding his identity, and he likes the FL. The ending is just adding insult to injury, and boils down to they died the end.
trash ending. it was okay before the last chapter. i would have given a better rating but really, the ending just ruined the whole story. totally not worth your time and money.
This story had so much potential but towards the end it just flatlined. Had the story continued before abruptly ending, it would've made for a good read. Unfortunately, it didn't deliver. I do not recommend if you want a story with proper ending.
Its very anti climactic that it made me want to cry😭😭😭😭, your so engross in reading it and then it feels like someone has thrown a bomb out of nowhere and its the END!!! its like the writer got bored of writing and then decided to end it right there that it will leave with your mounth open and your heart breaking.. Huhuhuhu😢😢😢
The main characters are all nice, the female lead is intelligent, strong and beautiful but not too op, the male lead is also nice. I liked the story but I feel like the ending is too rushed. The antagonists, Jiang Lu and Yan Zhang didn't get the retribution and the downfall that they deserved for treating fl like trash in both of her lives, Lu Mian, the ml was suddenly killed at the end. Very disappointing.

I'm touched by the story ending though its harsh.ah ! i felt bad for Liam even though it makes the story unique .I really hoped that its a ' happily ever after ' story but it borden my horizon of Tragedy . Thank you author for your hard work.

This was such nice story that turned out to be a disappointment. It had great plot unfortunately the ending was so rushed and completely ruined it. They didn't even get to say 'I love you' to each other, he just died. She did everything for revenge and didn't even get that at last.
