I shrugged casually, "What can we do? We've been kidnapped. Hey big brothers, how much money do you want? Just give us a number and save yourself the trouble of contacting our family members. Honestly, I don't know if you'd be able to find my family member."

Mai Qi concurred, "That's right. Tell us how much do you want? If we scrape together the money, we'll give it to you directly. Things are going to get a lot more complicated if you try to blackmail our families. You'll fail to get the money, and things are going to get real bad for you."

The two masked men were unmoved.
