Bab 15: Breaking Everything If You Need To.
Little note: So… As an amateur writer, I used a lot of inspiration from those stick fights that I used to see in that forgotten app from my DSi where people made cool drawings. (damn I feel old…)

I looked at the 3 men in front of me, the first one to charge at me was the big one, he seemed to be able to accumulate energy as his arm grew unnaturally and tried to strike me. I respond with a strike of my own, a Mach Punch.
Was I really competing with him in strength? YES, I can't always evade as there will be times where I have to protect others, if I want to become strong then I must be able to compete with or take strong strikes head on.
*BAM!*
When our fists met, our feet sank deep into the concrete, even though instead of meeting knuckle to knuckle I twisted my fist slightly to meet my knuckles against his fingers to reduce the shock, I could still feel the recoil of our confrontation going through my body and rattle my bones. I pushed forward with more force and made the big guy retreat but I saw the blue one at the corner of my eye.

My instincts rang like a bell and I felt as if my face was burning, so I ducked and just in time...
*swish*
I heard the air make a sharp sound right after I ducked, my long hair was cut off, my ponytail ended up as just loose hair barely reaching my shoulders. The skinny man was fast and had something like knives instead of hands.
For some reason, the man with a blue aura around him was just watching as if waiting for something. It didn't matter to me that much for now as I had enough with 2 for now.
The big guy would just try to smash me to a pulp but I wouldn't retreat and instead, I responded with my best Mach Strikes, while the blue one tried to cut me and managed to do it a few times but somehow I kept up with him using Super Step while fighting off the big guy.
When I pushed the big guy back, the one with the blue aura shot some kind of laser which I had to evade by stepping back, but that's when the skinny one came behind and attacked my feet forcing me to jump and evade. The big guy took the chance while I was airborne and...
*BANG!!*
*CRASH* x3
I managed to put my arms in front of my face before getting hit by the hulk guy. I went through an entire building rolling like a ragdoll so my sense of balance was a bit messy. When I entered another building through a wall I regained my balance by digging my fingers through the floor which stopped my momentum.
Despite blocking the attack I felt somewhat dizzy with blood coming out of my nose. I went through 3 walls… maybe 4 if I didn't stop myself, but stood up soon after which saved my life as when I got up, the world suddenly slowed down… I unconsciously covered my neck with my arms, *swish* the sound of muscles being stabbed resounded in the building, my right arm was punctured by the speedster's hand knives.
His attack didn't cut off my arm but it was somewhat deep, I flexed my muscles as hard as I could and the speedster found it hard to take his arms back, with my other hand I grabbed both of his wrists, he was skinny so even if my hand wasn't that big it was enough for this, I kicked his feet making him lose balance and threw him over my shoulder slamming him on the ground.
*WHAM!*
He tried to land his feet before his back reached the floor, but he underestimated my strength and fell harder than he thought, with the air escaping out of his lungs, he couldn't even scream. And just in case…
*wack*
A kicked his jaw to knock him out.
'Speedster out, I got a lot of cuts on my body because of him, although they aren't that much of a problem as I can stop any bleeding with adrenaline but still...'
"AAAGHH$%#"
*SMASH*
I heard the big guy screaming and going through the walls of the other building, before I could go to him I suddenly felt my right side burning again.
Super Step.
*ZAP* /Author: I don't know what noise a laser makes.../
A laser went past where I was, I could still feel the heat of the laser even if it just grazed at me, I saw the man of blue aura with his hand extended towards me and a scornful look on his face as he saw the speedster on the ground out cold.
'He seems to keep some rationality, "some" being the keyword.'
He looked back at me and shot more lasers. They were quite fast, not at the speed of light but not easy to dodge. While I kept evading while trying to get close to him, the hulk guy came smashing through a wall behind me and immediately tried to strike me. With his sudden appearance, the laser villain had time to move into a better position.
The building that we were fighting in, had a second floor with an opening to the first one so the laser dude took the high ground and got out of my range, I couldn't get close to him before defeating the other one.
During my confrontation with the big villain, the other one would shoot at my feet or near and made me lose foothold, therefore, losing momentum on my attacks.
*POW!*
I was being pushed back, there were trails on the ground as my feet slid on it, my knuckles were a bloody mess, the same for my elbows which I began to use more as it meant that I would be extra close to my opponent and that in turn made the one shooting lasers to be careful about not hurting his partner.
The fight was in a sort of stalemate but I knew that even if I wasn't getting tired, I was accumulating damage. I decided to take the big guy to a smaller building where he couldn't get help.
So with this in mind, I intentionally block his attack by crossing my arms in front of me while doing a horse stance. Blocking was different than getting hit directly, yet I felt like I was hit by a truck.
*BANG*
*CRASH* x2
Lucky me, I ended up inside another but smaller building, and the shape wasn't rectangular like the other one, this one had more of a cylinder shape. My body felt numb after going through 5 walls and taking hits head on from the big guy. 'I think my arms are fractured… and I also have some cracked ribs but they are still in place… Seems that it's time to use my legs.'
I stood up and spit some blood that came out of my mouth. 'Internal bleeding? It's been a while since I had that.' I thought with a weird smile on my face.
I felt the hulk dude's presence running at top speed towards me, it was difficult to ignore a big guy like him since he screams a lot and his steps are loud.
Soon after the big guy, bloodied and bruised just as I am, came at me full throttle and tried to hit me with an uppercut. I got an idea the moment he came at me like that, I concentrated the best I could for this moment, I was looking at his fist coming towards me in slow motion, 'If I fail I will die for sure…' with that thought, a refreshing smile appeared on my face, I could hear my heart beat inside my head getting louder and louder as the punch in front of me became slower and slower.

In the last moment, I jumped and used both of my legs to take the hit, then used the uppercuts momentum to jump towards a wall. With that extra momentum, I didn't crash on the wall, I slid across it in circles and kept building more speed until I ended on the ceiling, then I used Super Dash to shoot towards him like an artillery shell making the ceiling tremble despite training the technique to not do that, the extra force was that strong.
*BOOM*
He saw me coming towards him and got in a punching position. During our confrontations I noticed that he wouldn't retreat and fight head on, I did the same so both of us never retreated even if one of us was pushed back we would stand up and keep fighting head on. So I guessed that he would put his all into his attack like me.
Sure enough, his arm grew to the point that the rest of his body reduced in size but his arm looked like it was gonna blow up. I was rotating in the air creating more momentum for myself and at the last moment, I put all the power I built up into an axe kick. But at the last moment, I felt my right side burning again...
*ZAP*
*SMASH!*
The whole building trembled when our strikes met, any desks and chairs that were left in the abandoned building were sent flying because of the shockwave. When the smoke and debris cleared out, the big guy could be seen unconscious in the middle of a 10m radius crater with a broken arm. I was standing outside of the crater with a burn mark on my right side. I kept on with my attack and partly took the laser as I slightly twisted while airborne to avoid serious injury.
I looked at my side to see the blue aura guy with an expression full of rage, he didn't talk rubbish like the others who had been stung by the Trigger drug. He really was different.
Before I could contemplate more about him, I saw him raising both of his hands and my instincts rang incredibly loud as never before. Although my leg felt numb because of the last confrontation, I still managed to move out of the way.
Super Step.
*ZAAAP*
The laser was a lot wider than before and almost took down the entire building because it literally erased an entire side of it. It grazed the big guy on the ground but didn't kill him, I managed to evade it but I could feel the heat of the laser, even the side of the building that he shot at was still melting by the sudden increase of temperature.
I took a deep breath, I started to run around him at my best speed but he kept shooting me and following my movement without a problem.
I kept running with Super Step trying to get out of his sight by going between and behind obstacles. I noticed that he wasn't shooting lasers as fast as before… I would've tried to wait and test again if he could shoot the big laser but I was running out of time, the heroes or police would arrive in a minute or so…
'Time to gamble.'
I got the same feeling again, a smile from ear to ear spread on my face, my heartbeat was resounding in my head, my blood was boiling… I somehow felt that now, I could do anything if I put my mind into it.
I got out of my cover and used Super Dash to get close to him with the intention of finishing things quickly, as I got close to him time slowed down and I saw a smirk slowly appear on his face… I was going as fast as I could but it didn't seem like I could reach him before getting shot...

My muscles started the cycle of relaxation again, the time around me didn't just slow down but it truly came still like a picture.
'FASTER!'
My body was leaning forward with the intention of going all out no matter what was in my way. In a relaxation state that I would've normally faint, I didn't know how I was even conscious at that point.
'STRONGER!!'
My muscles started to snap back together slowly, even if it felt slow now I knew that this was the fastest I've ever done it. My entire being started to shake because of the tension and the power I suddenly exerted.
'BREAK EVERYTHING IF YOU NEED TO!!!'
Breaking my body quite literally by putting more and more tension, I felt my muscles tearing apart and bones starting to crack.
'SO DON'T FUCKING FAIL HERE!!!!'
I felt my body heating up and my heart pounding as if it would burst out of my chest, somehow I felt as if my entire being was set on fire, as if a little flame suddenly became a flaming inferno, it didn't hurt for some reason… But with this, even if it was for 1 second, my power and speed skyrocketed.
*BOOOM!!!*
The end result was me going at a speed that my senses were incapable of following, but the last thing I saw was the laser villain with a terrified expression and then trying to make some kind of wall from his aura.
*CRASH!!* x5
My vision was nothing but a blur after that, for the first time in years I felt lightheaded, I smelled nothing but blood, my whole body was numb, there was an iron-like taste in my mouth, and there was ringing in my ears.
When I came to my senses I realized that I was outside on the street lying on my back. I tried to stand up but my body barely responded by moving just an inch. I turned my head around and saw the aftermath of my tackle… I went through 2 buildings and the one we were inside of was half crumbled to the ground. The 2 last buildings that I went through had a hole that looked like a train came out of them or something. They were miraculously still standing.
I stopped suppressing my Spiritual Sense and saw everything around me, I realized that it has grown up to 33 meters. The blue aura guy was 10m away from me completely out cold, he was folded like a chair despite making a shield of energy to stop my tackle.
Anyway…. My body is a mess as almost all my bones were broken and muscles were almost completely torn... I will be scolded for sure, I hope that I can be healed before meeting my parents.
But...
"BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHH!!"
Any of that doesn't matter now, Why? Because I feel like I can keep growing stronger again.
Even with all the accumulated damage, I'm actually not that tired, I still have at least 60% of my stamina despite the bleeding.
I just had to wait for people to come, so I just began to contemplate the battle I just went through. One thing I learned is that my instincts aren't as good as I thought when it comes to fighting people with quirks. I need more experience fighting people of this era since the quirks are a new X factor for me, they are different from guns from my past life. If I fight a person with just super strength then I can easily win, I'm confident in that much.
But my instincts still did save me a few times, I just would prefer having better control over them. I should also try to improve my normal senses as it does complement my now newly expanded detection range. And lastly, that feeling of my body heating up and my heart almost coming out of my chest, it somehow brought a lot of power out of nowhere… I will try it again later on.
Aside from all that, I'm officially a battle junkie… or a thrill-seeker? Big Sis used to call me a training junkie but that was because I trained a lot of course since the feeling of pushing that old body of mine to the limit made me feel alive, but now I'm both I guess? Well, whatever title I could be called now, I know for sure that the feeling I got in those do or die situations was different from the old me. Such situations used to feel tense and erratic, but now I think it's something I can look forward to.
While I contemplated my new discoveries, I could hear some police sirens from far away.
