Bab 2: Chapter 1
I feel myself come back to my body and open my eyes after realizing they were closed. I look around and see that I'm in a man's arms and see that I'm in some kind of medical tent, I also see. I look back at the man and see that he is a doctor.
'But what about my dad. Where is he?" I thought not seeing another person in here.
I look back at my mom, and notice how ill she looks, she looks like she is about to die.
"Do you want to hold her, Mrs . Yami," the doctor says while holding me next to her.
'Really, my last name is Yami? I kind of like it, it fits my powers well.' I thought while thinking about my ironic last name.
"Yes,...please,...let me...see my...daughter...before I...die," she says weakly.
The doctor hands me to my mother, who looks like she is using all her strength to hold me.
She looks at me with so much love and cares, that I can't help but cry a little seeing her about to die.
"What will you name her," asked the doctor curious about what she will choose.
I was also curious because whatever my name will be, I will carry that name with honor and pride, no matter what others say about it.
"Her name...will be...Yin. Yin Yami...or Yami Yin," she said, naming me.
'Huh, Yin Yami. I like it. It is perfect for me. From now on, I am Yin Yami!' I thought.
Then she spoke again breaking me from my thoughts.
"Yin... I'm sorry. I'm sorry...that,...I won't be around...long enough...to see you...grow up...first, you lost your father...and now...you're about...to lose...your mother...so forgive me...my little shadow. Be strong...for me...and your father," she said very weakly.
"My time...is...up. Goodbye...my little...shadow," she said taking her last breath.
After that, I couldn't help but cry out loud like a real baby that was born recently.
