As Pierce slowly pressed his hand on the Phoenix's head, the flames did not cause him any harm. Instead, he could feel a warmth that penetrated his heart through the protective barrier.

These flames were made of very powerful elements that could attack and heal. He wondered if this monster would still have the ability after transforming into an undead.

Because the death element and the creature's element were not compatible, Pierce did not know what would happen if he forced them.

However, there was no harm in trying. After all, this was Pierce's only option to obtain the other party's ability. His group had already severely injured the other party, which meant that the other party's favorability would never increase.

Even if he could increase the affinity, he did not want to use this method because it was too troublesome. Who knew how long it would take to cultivate a good favorability.
