Short Story ─ Mother's Day: Little Lecia
In a small, but peaceful country was a big white castle, in that castle in the highest tower lived a little girl who was playing alone.
"Come, you dirty monster! I will defeat you."
"Save me, my hero."
"Hahaha, you won't be able to save her, you pathetic hero."
The girl was playing various roles as she held up weapons made of paper.
A sword with a shield, a crown and a bull-like head.
The girl's name was Leticia─ Lecia, and she was the princess of this nation.
"Ah, damn you hero!"
Lecia stabbed herself with the paper sword.
Pretending to die as the evil monster collapsed on the ground.
Then she rolled to the other side and put on the crown.
"Thank you, brave hero."
Now he took the sword and shield.
"There is nothing to thank princess."
He looked at himself in the mirror in a romantic way.
"Princess."
"Hero."
Her lip came up to the mirror and...
"Kyah! I can't!"
She threw it on the bed.
She was embarrassed and trembling, she was a ten-year-old girl.
Despite being of an age where she is taught sex education, she still acted as if she was ignorant on the subject.
"It's embarrassing to ki-i-i-i-iss! I can't believe a man and a woman would do something as inappropriate as that hawawawa!"
Her mouth was moving like a W because of how red her face was.
Lecia comforted herself and grabbed the mirror.
She looked at herself in it.
"Even if I say that. One day I'll have a husband and I'll have to do even more inappropriate and shameful things. How indecent, you adults are so indecent!"
She threw herself on the bed and looked at the rainbow-painted ceiling and various figures of knights and princesses.
"I'm bored. I want to go outside, but mother told me there's been an attempted rebellion for years and that's why me and my brother must be locked in here."
She peered into the window of her room that was that tower.
"I want to go out and see the world. Being cooped up here like a bird is boring."

Years passed and Lecia became quite a woman, she was also the queen of an allied country.
By now she was very busy.
"Come back here!"
"I don't want to!"
She was chasing a girl who was running around smashing everything in her path.
"I said come back! Alisa!"
A blonde-haired, red-eyed girl was throwing tables, vases and even knocking over the servants she encountered.
"Don't order me around, you old hag!"
A vein was marked on Lecia's forehead.
"Alisa... I taught you that you must respect your elders."
"Stay away, witch!"
"Don't order me around!"
"Only my family can!"
Alisa was running down the corridors of the castle, she turned a corner, at the end of that corridor was a glass door leading to a rooftop garden.
Lecia was almost catching up to her.
Alisa didn't hesitate and ran at full speed, smashing through the window.
Playing nearby was Lecia's son, Crown Prince Liam who saw a little girl jump out of a window.
Of course, Alisa fell to the ground, Lecia went after her worriedly.

"Are you all right?"
Lecia asked Alisa as they took a bath together. Fortunately, she was not hurt.
Alisa was quiet as she thought Lecia would yell at her, but she was crying as she saw her thinking something had happened to her.
Alisa asked her as she was being hugged by Lecia.
"Why do you care so much about me, I'm not your daughter."
Lecia replied as she rinsed her hair.
"You may be the daughter of the Duchess and you may have been entrusted to me. But let me tell you that as long as you are here I will see you as my own daughter."
"I want us to get along as you may one day become my daughter-in-law."
"... As if that would ever happen."
Lecia watched Alisa's red face, she smiled.
"Who knows. One never knows what fate has in store for us."
Lecia has her own story to tell, but that will be for another time.
