Short Story ─ Happy Sacred Tree Eve
Today is a special day, because since we arrived in Aster, a year has passed.
I have suffered a lot as these idiots have picked fights with me or tried to kill me or I have related in some strange way with the characters in the game, especially with the heroine and villain.
To make matters worse we are on a holiday called sacred tree eve.
It's kind of like saintmas, a celebration where we all gather to give thanks to the saint, only in this case it's to the giant tree in the middle of the continent.
Why am I in a bad mood?
It's because of...
"Rudel-san, look at this store. We don't have stores like this in the kingdom."
"Rudel, my brother asked me to tell you that he wants you to personally gift him something."
"Rudel, hurry up I want to go to the fair before it gets crowded."
"Rudel, it's my turn for you to take my arm."
At this point I was standing with four blonde-haired beauties.
Airi, Alisa, Lucy and Sara.
After the past events they became my girlfriends... there is only one problem with this possible beautiful dream.
"Hey, it's my turn."
Alisa said looking furtively at Lucy, who had a dull expression when she told her.
Lucy ignored Alisa and more forcefully buried her breasts in my arm.
While on the other side Sara grabbed my hand after pulling Airi off.
The look on her face darkened after being happy until recently.
Worst of all, the people around us are avoiding us, seemingly not wanting to get in our way.
Further behind us is Erselica's group, she puts her hands in a prayerful direction as if praying for me while eating a fish-shaped candy.
Hey, help me. I'm scared.
"Rudel, let's go fast, the games will fill up fast."
Lucy pulled my arm and together with Sara we ran. I looked back a little and there still standing there were Alisa and Airi looking at us in a scary way.
Please stop looking at each other like that, my stomach hurts.

"A duke's daughter shouldn't do this, so be thankful that, as your betrothed, I'm feeding you."
"Rudel, I prepared this just for you."
"Even though I can't cook, I made sure the chefs at my house prepared this with great care."
We were having fun as today unlike the Kingdom where we spent with our families, we spent the day going out on dates and eating homemade lunches that they prepared for me.
Airi's lunch was fried fish rice and vegetables.
Alisa's contained prime beef, it looks like she used her magic as there are many parts of the meat very burnt, I expected this from a duke's daughter.
Lucy had the nicest lunch as it was beef croquettes.
While Sara's was lobster with oyster sauce.
It was all very delicious, but...
"Hey, I'm feeding Rudel."
"You had your time to do it, he's mine now,"
"I'm the legal wife."
"And I his mistress, the mistresses have more rights since it is to her that the husband goes after getting bored with the nagging wife."
The four of them were sending each other sharp glances and the magical power of the atmosphere was beginning to distort. Their hair was even floating.

After washing my face, I analyzed my situation.
Yes, it's bad. Very bad.
Not bad in the sense that my life is in danger from some enemy, but it's certainly bad in the sense that I have four girls who obviously get along badly with each other.
"Guh... why don't they get along like Erselica's harem?"
I don't understand how five guys can seamlessly share the same woman, but I, who have four women in this country, they give the impression of looking down on each other.
Is it my fault to turn them like that as the little loli told me?
No, I don't think I have the power to change a person's personality and way of thinking... unless it's to make them hate me where I have a master's degree.
"You certainly are a very pitiful Master."
The least unexpected "person" came, Ixion arrived from the open window.
"Shut up, you don't understand my situation."

What is this sphere talking about? I always try to show them my love.
"If that were true, Airi and Alisa wouldn't be away from the other two, and both Lucy and Sara would be seeing each other's faces."
"Why can't they get along!"

I hate that this sphere is mocking me.
It came closer and now my face and its eye were staring at each other.
"Treat them the way they want."
"How to treat them?"
"They want you to prove yourself to be the strong manly man that you are─── *sneeze*."
"Hey, why did you pretend to sneeze if you don't have a nose? Hey, don't ignore me, answer my question."
"What I was saying is... act like when you make fun of others or want to feel superior."
I looked to the side embarrassed at his response.
"It's not the same to act like that when they are people I care about. It amuses and pleases me to be like that with idiots, but I don't want to treat them badly."
"Nobody's saying yell at them or threaten them, I'm just saying use the same confidence you use in booing others and turn it into determination to be the man they think you are─── *sneeze*."
"You do it on purpose don't you? You do it on purpose to make fun of me don't you?"
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"Don't evade the issue!"
Ixion flew away while repeating the same thing.
"If you don't want those four to get along badly, you just need to mark your place as their man, no one says it's necessary for women in a harem to get along with each other."
With those words said, I went in earnest to the bathroom and then left to find them.

When I came out of the bathroom, it took me a while to find them.
There was a lot of crowd, but I found them riding on a carousel.
They saw me and each came closer taking the distance from each other.
Well, here we go.
Instead of approaching Alisa and Airi who were coming straight at me, I went for Lucy.
"Huh?"
She looked surprised, but the others were much more so.
Then I said words I can never take back.
"Lucy, I love you, I want you to know that. I will always protect you and I will never let anything bad happen to you."
Lucy was obviously surprised, I'm sure from her hug, she must be smiling.
"Yes. I love you too and I know you will protect me."
Lest any of the three of them think anything weird, I went after Sara next.
I hugged her, she hugged me too and her face touched my chest.
"Sara, I love you for how you are, I don't want you to think that what we lived months ago was just a game or something fleeting, I want you to be by my side."
"Gosh, you're horribly honest when I least expect it. But it's okay, I like that side of you."
Now that I'm done with them, on to the more problematic ones.
Alisa and Airi had complicated looks on their faces and their gazes were looking at opposite sides.
Being close enough, I kissed Airi.
She was surprised but then relaxed her body and her tongue and mine touched.
As I withdrew my tongue, I watched Alisa who looked like a little girl wanting her gift too after seeing her sister get one.
I gave one to her, Alisa's tongue and mine rolled around and she didn't want to let me go, but after a while we let go.
I hugged them tight and told them so they could all hear.
"No need to be jealous you girls, I love you all, I don't want you to feel bad. If I did anything else forgive me, okay?"
They hugged me in response with honest words.
"We will always love you. You are our knight after all."
"Rudel-san will always be my destined person, I love you very much and will never stop loving you."
I looked at the other two to tell them...
"The night has just begun, shall we go somewhere?"
They ran over and intertwined their arms with Airi's and Alisa's and they all screamed.
"We want to spend time with you!"
I smiled and in response to their feelings.
"Let's go find touristy places where there aren't so many people."
"In that case I can think of a good place where we can all have a good time."
"Is there really one like that?"
"Aster isn't the most advanced country in the world for nothing."
"Sounds exciting."
"Oh, I know the place you're talking about. No doubt they'll have fun too."
It seems like things have improved as they chat with each other and smile as well.
I really hate that Ixion is right.

Ixion was spying on Rudel from on high.
"If only it were always like this, it might be just the smallest fraction of what I expect from you as my Master."
"But it doesn't matter. As long as you guys are happy..."
