Bab 49: Epilogue (Vol 2.5) – Smile
When it was all over, we arrived at the royal capital.
I handed over the criminals to the palace. They made sure to punish them severely. I won't say what happened, but I will only say that the viscount was arrested after arriving.
My holidays had just begun and I wanted to spend it with my friends.
But before I went back to my territory to see them, because they stayed with my family, there was one person I didn't expect to see.
"It looks like you've been having fun without me."
"Please don't say things that can be misinterpreted."
She is a beautiful girl with blue-cyan hair in holes and fuchsia-pink eyes.
She wore an elegant dress, and purposely placed her large breasts on the table and sipped her iced tea in a seductive manner.
She's Eleonora von Roseblaire, the daughter of a count.
I met her during the chaos on the cruise and... we've met a few times for tea.
Today she came in because she wanted to buy clothes. She even told me her three sizes and the color of her underwear.
It was very obscene.
"Yes. I had a lot of fun punishing criminals, thank you."
"It's a pity I wasn't there that day to watch your fight in the best position."
"You're not missing anything."
"I wasn't just talking about that, I was talking about the fact that she wouldn't leave you alone either."
"Her?"
She selflessly stirred his tea with the straw.
"A certain spoiled girl who won't leave you alone."
I didn't understand who was she talking about, but I didn't care.
We talked together for a while and before we said goodbye, she gave me a gift.
It was her new underwear.
I was going to give it back to her- but it was the first time I had seen this design so I just kept it.

At Bradford Household, chaos was roaming the mansion.
"Are the beds ready?"
"Y-Yes!"
"What about dinner?"
"I made sure to bring the finest and most expensive ingredients I could buy!"
The head of the house and his wife were sweating cold. High class maids were in their newly built mansion.
Rudel's father was signing some documents as Rudel put his name on some newly created companies.
The maids made the beds in the rooms and prepared the food.
Rudel's parents were frightened.
It was the second time in their lives that they had been with upper class people, even if they were just maids.
"Why did that boy bring them back?!"
"That idiot is going to give me a heart attack. He wants that for sure!"
"Excuse me, my lords, at what time is the meal to be served?"
A maid came to ask them something. They were both frightened because of the level of respect and politeness.
Even when responding nervously. The maid did not change her exemplary behavior.
So, they all came out.
Making a double column, they received their young mistress.
"Welcome, Alisa ojou-sama."
Alisa and Airi were returning from taking care of some plants they planted.
Shortly after entering, Rudel arrived.
The three of them went out into the garden for a little walk.
The sun was setting.
Rudel picked up a blue ring that he dropped.
The color and shape was almost similar to Alisa's earrings and Airi's brooch.
Alisa shook Rudel's hand and the three of them walked straight to the harbor.
Rudel's brothers were working in their vegetable garden. Lyle commented to Bram with a face that was hard to show.
"Hey, don't you think those three are too close together?"
"Don't think strange thoughts, Lyle. Besides, that guy is a country noble and she's a duke's daughter. They're from totally different social worlds, so even if they're getting together with a commoner girl, it doesn't mean any of the craziness you're talking about."
Lyle watched the three of them laugh as he answered his younger brother.
"Even if it's as you say, it's really weird that the three of them are so close without being a couple."
One day they'll stop playing games, concentrate on harvesting.
They looked at them strangely as they returned to work.
To everyone present, Rudel and the girls didn't behave like normal friends. Much less because of their social classes.
The friendship between a man and two women; two nobles and a commoner, was something impossible to imagine.

Vayne arrived at the Duke's mansion in the capital.
He walked into his father's office. Siegwald was signing documents, looked at his son and stopped writing.
"I've already heard the report. But tell me in person anyway."
"Yes."
Vayne told his father everything that happened.
Hearing the narrated report, his expression hardened.
It wasn't because of what caused the Baltimore Household, much less that a member of his faction had betrayed him.
It was about-
"So the power of that lost item was more terrifying than we had imagined."
Rudel.
Vayne saw firsthand the power of Rudel's airship and armed unit.
"Even if he didn't kill anyone, he didn't mean it."
Rudel's aircraft wiped out more than 85% of the enemy fleet and almost all of the armed units.
Siegwald said what he thought about it.
"Vayne, what do you think about it?"
Siegwald gave his son the task of taking Rudel to observe him.
Because of what his daughter told him. He had a bad impression of Rudel.
He wanted to make sure that he wouldn't be a threat to his family if he kept hanging out with his daughter. Let alone that person wanting to recruit him.
Vayne gave his father a smile.
"What's going on?"
"Well, it's just that Viscount- Rudel-kun is the most docile person we could meet, haha."
"Is this the case?"
"Father..."
Vayne looked strangely at her father.
"There is a possibility that Bismarck Household may have not only a strong ally but also someone who will never betray us. And that person and Alisa are very close..."
The two of them talked until late that day, at the same time they had two photographs of two youths on the table.

In a room of the royal palace, a man sat reviewing documents.
"Incompetent."
It was the Marquis Balzac who was in a bad mood.
He had lost several allies recently.
He received a report about what happened to the Baltimore Household.
"The worst of it is that all they did was make Siegwald and Mayer more attentive to the ministers and nobles."
"They really are incompetent, all of them."
"The weird thing is, there was that Bradford brat involved in this too."
The Marquis didn't know Rudel. He had only met him a few times from afar, watching him from his seat when he was made a viscount and knight.
His cup of tea was lukewarm.
It had been like that for a while.
He looked at the contents with bitterness. He received a report about what happened to the Baltimore Household.
"Will there be anyone here to help me make my wish come true?"
The marquis was a man who came to his position through hard work. His desire was to climb to the highest peak he could, to be prime minister and to be close to the king to advise him.
"It's really is infuriating that everyone is so useless."
He was going back to his work, signing documents for the execution of criminals.
Someone knocked on the door.
"Enter."
He hadn't vassals to open the door, but he wasn't a social person either. If anyone called at his office, it was for work.
The door opened. And a girl came in. She was short in stature.
"Good evening, Marquis."
"Huh? Who are you?"
The Marquis looked at the girl who was smiling as if she had won a prize.
She... was Erselica.
"I am the future Saint of the Kingdom."

During the war, he was protecting the border of his territory. He watched Ixion fight against the black thing, The black thing grabbed Mathias' ship with its tentacles, I won't say if it was Ixion who killed it or if it crashed into the sea.
Hudson van Alvaheim(Gazef Stronoff from Overlord)
He was one of the first to believe that Rudel isn't a traitor, in fact, he was the first to come out with the allies to fight with him.
He was with the group that fought Diabolos and was split in half without even taking a hit.
Basley(Cho Jae-Myung from The Breaker)
He fought in the prison under the palace, even talked with Bandel, he beat him so badly that he killed him without the need for a public execution.
Zeldris(MS-06s-ZAKU II from Gundam)
In the end it was turned into scrap by Ixion.
The reason why Basley was a baron and his armed unit red is because it is a reference to the red baron.
