Queencie's POV

Monsters were real. They were not part of the mystic anymore. That was the reality I woke up to at the age of four years old. Waking up with a cute and cuddly Tiger bear as your pet and loyal companion was one of the best days of my lonely existence.

I've witnessed cloning and the creation of chimeras. And my biggest fear was for them to fall into the wrong side of a war which all happened. Chimeras were designed to obey. Even the smallest one would kill for their Alpha. 

Tigris was a different type. It was this creature with loyalty and trust. It had clung to me as a member of its pack. So defending me was a part of it's instinct.

"Kick that fluff ball ass!" I cried out angrily as Tigris growled at the beast which was pursuing us. Alberto had slowed down his galloping but did not stop. "Wait, Alberto, I want to see Tigris."
