Bab 16: Part 2: Chapter 16: The bonds were to tight

North of Bentiu, South Sudan.

'Why is Curt holding me this tight?'

She writhed against the bonds of dreams.

'I can't breathe, let me go,' she pleaded.

'You are scaring me.'

She woke with a start.

Why am I tied?

What is happening?

Confused, she looked around and realised she was moving. Except for her gear, the cabin of the vehicle was empty.

Panic flooded her reason. Frantic with fear she rolled around, kicked and screamed. After a while she stopped, sweat pouring from her.

You need to relax. Find out where you are. Wait for the right time.

The car moved at a comfortable speed, so the person was at ease. She struggled upright, the sun's rays just colouring the heavens. Cramps settled in her shoulders and hips and moved to a more comfortable position.

Then the car slacked until it stopped. From above a man appeared and before she could react, another prick pulled her back into oblivion.
