"Vampire…" Cole muttered.
"What's wrong with vampires?" Del asked as he switched from his rifle into his pistol.
"They're very strong," Cole said.
"Let's fight her together then!"
Without any hesitation, Del shot 7.92 Mauser round at the head of that vampire. The vampire flinched, but that was all. The bullet was attached to her head. She grabbed the solid bullet that was attached to her head and pulled it out.
"Just that? Is that the best that you can do, human?" The vampire asked.
Del loaded another round into the chamber of his rifle and decided to shoot the vampire on the torso again. The vampire flinched and blood came out of her torso. However, the same thing happened again. She pulled the bullet that was attached to her skin with her bare hand.
"Can you entertain me more, human? I think the demon right next to you will be able to do better than what you did to me," the vampire said.
Cole didn't do anything to fight the vampire either.
"Cole, what are you doing? Help me!" Del loaded five bullets into his rifle.
"Oh, yeah, right," Cole swung his sword at the vampire but the vampire dodged his attack.
The vampire just stood there while smirking at both of them. She pitied them for their lack of skills in fighting. Cole kept swinging his sword at the vampire but he kept missing the vampire. It seemed that Cole wasn't as good as Del had expected.
"Fireball!" Cole cast a fireball at the vampire.
The vampire dodged the fireball and the fireball hit the wooden wall of the house. Luckily, the fireball didn't ignite the wood.
"C'mon, you two, entertain me," the vampire laughed.
Del aimed his rifle at the vampire. He aimed for her head again. He pulled the trigger and another bullet flew to the head of that vampire. The vampire flinched from the bullet, but again, the bullet just stuck at the skin of that vampire and she pulled it out with ease.
"WHAT ARE YOU MADE OF?" Del loaded another bullet into the chamber of his rifle.
"Hahahaha, I know humans are weak," the vampire laughed again while she dodged Cole's sword.
Cole jumped backward to gain a distance from that vampire. He then focused his vision on the vampire. He then cast a spell, "Explosion!"
An explosion appeared and it missed the vampire. Instead, it created a big hole in that house that led outside. Apparently, Del was right that the weak explosion that Cole created would be able to cut his arm off.
Del didn't hesitate and he shot another bullet to the head of the vampire. He didn't bother to see the reaction of the vampire and he kept shooting the bullets that he kept inside of his rifle until the magazine ran dry.
"Human, your attempt is futile!" The vampire said.
"SHUT UP!" Del switched to his pistol and he fired every single bullet left inside of the magazine.
He shot eight .45 ACP AP bullets at the vampire. None of them penetrated the vampire. Instead, all of them simply bounced off the body of that vampire without any reason. Right now, Del just tried everything that he could to stop that vampire down.
Cole ran up from behind and tried stabbing the vampire from behind. The vampire dodged it and he kicked Cole instead and he fell to the ground. Del put another fresh magazine into his pistol and he continued shooting the vampire.
Again, the bullets just bounced off everywhere. It was just something unreal for Del. Alberto was at least wounded, but this vampire seemed to only be annoyed by the bullets that he fired. He loaded the last magazine of his pistol.
He shot the last magazine at the torso of the vampire before he prepared to run away from that vampire.
"Is that all that you can do? it's my turn now," the vampire said.
She kicked Cole again and Cole fell to the ground. Del ran away into the staircase and the vampire noticed it. Del looked backward and the vampire was preparing a magical spell to attack him.
"Precise Strike Mode: Icicle Barrage!"
Bunch of icicles formed in front of the vampire. All of it flew in Del's direction. Del tried to run for cover, but the wall where he could take refuge was too far. The icicles hit Del's body. His chest was hit by the barrage, as well as his legs.
He couldn't run and the icicle penetrated Del's torso. It entered from the back and got out from the front. Blood started coming out of his chest and Del had a hard time breathing. Del fell to the ground with the rifle in his hands.
"I know you will be easy to beat," the vampire walked closer to Del, "You're such a hassle, you know that?"
Del couldn't move. He couldn't talk either. His left lung had collapsed from the wound. The floor around him started to get stained by his blood as well. Del barely had his consciousness. Del looked at Cole.
Del muttered his last words, "Cole, if you somehow meet someone called Anna Moore. Tell her to visit my grave."
Del finally closed his eyes. He wasn't able to maintain his consciousness. His life was full of regrets, but he knew that he would die. He just didn't expect it to happen too soon. He expected he would be killed in another world after all. However, some things were left unknown to Del.

Cole looked at Del's body, "Is he still alive? What are you even doing in here?"
"What are you doing with him anyway? Why are you wearing that slave collar? It seems to be weird that your slaver is way younger than you are," the vampire said.
Del didn't even think that the vampire and Cole knew each other. Cole wasn't even putting any effort in fighting the vampire, to be honest. He was just putting an effort so Del wouldn't suspect anything.
"Well, Cassandra, what are you doing here? Don't tell me that you're researching something for your postgraduate thesis," Cole said.
"Why would I be here then?" Cassandra asked.
"Still, I'm amazed that you can resist the thing from Del's magical tool. Tell me something, does it hurt being shot by a thing like that?" Cole asked.
"Hurt? Man, I can't even describe it. When I realized something just punched through my torso. It seems that some of my internal organs had been turned into mashed potatoes. If not for the blood from Osmond, I doubt I can survive," Cassandra said.
"Anyway, is that kid alive?" Cole asked.
Cassandra approached Del's unconscious body. She touched the artery on his neck, "He's still alive. Should I finish him?"
"Heck no. He still has his uses. Why were you attacking him anyway?" Cassandra asked.
"Why would he attack me?"
"Simple, you're guarding his bounty. It's just a coincidence that he found out that you're a vampire. After that, it was just a chain of misunderstanding that makes sure that both of you are killing each other," Cole said.
"Fine, what are you going to do with him? He won't last long without any medical intervention," Cassandra said.
"Well, you're a medical student, it's your thing. Do something to save his life and I will make it worth your time when we return to the demonic continent," Cole said.
"Are you even going to return to the demonic continent?" Cassandra asked.
"I think I will. Don't worry, the kid seems to be different from other humans inside of this continent," Cole said.
"Will even this kid helps your research about Darium or something?" Cassandra asked.
"We'll see. With his kind of ambition, I think I'd be able to complete my research faster," Cole said.
"Alright, prepare a bed, I'll perform surgery on him," Cassandra said as he lifted Del's body off the floor.
Cole went to the nearest bedroom and he prepared the bed for Cassandra. Cassandra was his senior that went to a different university in the demonic continent. Cole took off all of the fabrics that might stick into the wound during surgery from the bed.
Cassandra entered the room while carrying Del which was drenched in blood. Cassandra put Del into the bed and she applied a healing spell at the wound which bleeding can be easily stopped.
"Cole, get me my surgery kit. It's on the first-floor living room, right inside of the wardrobe," Cassandra said.
Cole went downstairs and grabbed the surgery kit. It was a small bag with Cassandra's name on it. Cole brought the surgery kit into the room. Cassandra seemed to be pouring her magical energy into the body non-stop.
"Could you please leave the room?" Cassandra asked.
Cole left the room. He just hoped that Del could be saved.
