Bab 37: CHAPTER 37: Car Drift

"You don't think that those books and the dress were the only gifts we planned to give you on your 21st birthday, now do you?" dad said with a sparkle in his eyes.

"What's going on here?" I raised an eyebrow towards Valek.

"What? No..no..this isn't me. It's all on your parents," Valek said when he looked at me.

"It's just that whenever a surprising thing or talk comes up my eyes just roll towards you," I said.

"Ha ha. I am not a birthday party planner here," Valek said.

"Nah, no one would go to your lame parties anyway," I said sarcastically.

"Was your surprise lame?" mom asked after hearing what I had just said.

"No, it wasn't," I replied with a bit nervous tone because I knew Valek arranged all that for me. "So what is it?"

"We will have to get back to the house to find out about that," dad said.

"Ok, let's go home," I said.
