Bab 59: The So-Called Self-Sacrifice to Save Others

"Miss, don't block his way. Hurry up and end her misery. It's not like she can get any treatment anyway. Are we supposed to watch as she bleeds to death?" said an old granny. She sighed and turned her head around, unwilling to look at the depressing sight.

The scene could easily make anyone feel uncomfortable.

Many people did not have the heart to face the bleak reality.

Li Ran was briefly distracted and the man quickly threw the woman towards the zombies. 

However, he did not instantly run away. Instead, he crouched nearby, as if he was ready to do something.

Sure enough, the zombies smelt the blood and rushed over.

They surrounded the woman and began tearing her from limb to limb. 

It was horrifying.

The woman's weak screams were heard.

However, after a short while, it fell silent.

She had died.

The man saw this as an opportunity and quickly rushed towards a zombie that was carrying a bag of supplies.
