When Alex got home that night, she knew immediately that something was wrong because Fifi was still sitting in her work suit, focused on her laptop. She sighed and walked up to her to hug her from behind sweetly.

"So, what's going on this time? I had a good time today with the Jensen, but apparently, the party's over, right?"

"You are back, baby girl? As a matter of fact, there's a little something, but how about we talk about it tomorrow? Tell me about your first meeting with your in-law! Don't let your father ruin your day, okay?" Fidelia was really more curious about what had happened at the Jensen's than about the ridiculous scandal that was going on.
